July 4th Fireworks - A spectacular display of fireworks over the White Oak River. Swansboro and Cedar Point partner to make this event one your sure to remember. Swansboro Hook and Bones Redfish Open - This event is held annually on the second weekend of August. This is the largest single day Redfish Tournament in North Carolina and is sure to provide a fun-filled day for the entire family. A variety of prizes and cash payout are awarded, including a guaranteed $5,000 1st Place Award. The Mullet Festival - This annual event begins with a parade down Hwy 24 through Swansboro.
