Agateland Cottage offers peace and quiet, unlike a hotel, where traffic noise, slamming doors, and loud voices threaten a peaceful night's sleep. Built in 2005, with high-speed internet access, and HDTV, the cottage offers a modern luxury. Not only does this cozy cottage offer a modern twist, but it also ties in an exceptional comfort level--with a TempurPedic mattress and bidet toilet-- once again setting it apart from many common hotels. In addition, Agateland Cottage is centrally located around Southern Oregon's many attractions-- a mere fifteen minutes to Ashland and the Shakespearean Festival, just ten minutes to Jacksonville and the Britt Festival, only ninety miles to the beautiful Crater Lake, and twenty minutes to the Rogue River. The small, quiet cottage is perfect for a couple. The bed has a firm, comfortable mattress with nice linens. The bidet and huge walk-in shower were a luxurious bonus! The kitchen is perfect for making meals and had most of what we needed for cooking. The living room furniture is small but comfy. The only amenity we wished for was cable or satellite television. Using streaming services is a pain when all you want to watch is a few football games on network stations. It does seem to be the way most VRBO homes are equipped, however. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved this adorable cottage. It has a well equipped with a nice sized kitchen, large bathroom and cozy bedroom and living space. It's on the owners property, but tucked in the back corner of their lot. The owners were very friendly. The cottage was clean and comfortable and we look forward to staying again when in Medford.

The cottage is absolutely wonderful. It is clean and well appointed. Mark and Debbie are fantastic hosts and were very accommodating and available during our visit. We would definitely like to visit again !

Amazing accommodations. Gardens and grounds were immaculate. Host was wonderful. Stayed 8 days and loved it all. Golf, Osf, wineries and food. This is a great place to stay. We will always use this cottage when we return.

This lovely cottage is clean, quiet and close to things, but far enough away from the hustle bustle of city to provide a quiet retreat.
We were here to celebrate our anniversary with a Britt Festival concert. Only 10 minutes away, easy to get to.
The hostess was friendly and available if we had needed her. But, as it was, all was taken care of. She has put a lot of love into her gardens that surround the cottage, which made the stay even more special.
I will recomend this place to friends.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 2 nights during mid-June. The cottage was everything I had hoped for as it was very peaceful and restful. I traveled to Medford to take private yoga lessons and the cottage was a perfect compliment to the intensive yoga experience. Debbie, our host, was super friendly and helpful!

Traveling alone for art workshop in nearby Ashland and Jacksonville. This was the perfect spot!

The owners were wonderful. We were there for surgery and the house was very clean and close to the hospital. They made sure we had everything we needed! Definitely planning on staying there again!

We were in Medford for a coupla days (from the coast) for a major surgery. Mark and Debbie were SO understanding and helpful! The cottage was homey and comfortable. We are very grateful for our stay and hope to return

about 1.5 hours to Crater Lake National Park, clean and large bathroom and large3 walk in shower with grab bars and hand held shower. We didn't need grab bars, but good to have if anyone needs it.

This is a lovely cottage behind the owner’s home. It is private and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting Medford and Crater Lake. This home was perfect for our getaway.

Third Time Staying Here!
This wonderful cottage is our "go to" place to stay when we travel to the Ashland/Medford area for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and golf. We love it! It's so comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Debbie and Mark have thought of everything and the private access makes it easy to avoid disturbing them as we come and go, yet they are right there if we have questions. We'll keep coming back.

So much better than a hotel
As a woman traveling by myself I appreciated that the host was nearby, but also enjoyed having a great private cottage to have a nice breakfast and enjoy some quiet time in the mornings.

We love this place! We were here several years ago and have wanted to return, but our travel was thwarted by the pandemic. We have more time booked later this summer. We stay here for plays in Ashland and golf in Medford - both favorite activities. The cottage is spacious, private and very comfortable. My husband loves the reclining lounge chair and l love the desk and work area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need, the bathroom is huge, there is a washer and dryer, and there are outlets everywhere for any charging or electronics you have.

Better than home away from home.
This cottage was way above our expectations. Not only do I recommend, we have already been telling our friends and we looking to book again in the fall. Please don't hesitate having the owners of the property on site, they did introduce themselves and let us know they are available for us and then just let us be.

Absolutely delightful accommodations! I can not say enough about this rental. This is my first experience with VRBO. The owners are very nice to chat with.
