Nestled in Outer Banks, this lovely house for $599 per night is a great choice for your next trip. FANTASEA IS A SUNDAY TO SUNDAY RENTAL. VRBO SAYS WE ARE A 13 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH - NOT TRUE! FANTASEA IS 2 - 3 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH. Refresh yourself at FantaSea, perfect for large families, just one lot back from the oceanfront. FantaSea is an awesome 5-bedroom getaway the whole family can enjoy. Enter on the first level and chill out in the game room with shuffleboard, TV with surround sound, wet bar, and full-size refrigerator. The game room also features a pull out sofa and pub table. The laundry area and a full bath are also on the first floor. Step out onto the shaded deck to enjoy lunch before stepping down into the pool and hot tub area for some fun in the sun. The second level has four bedrooms. A king master and queen master both have TVs and sliders onto the shaded deck on the ocean side of the house. Across the hall are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a pyramid bed, sharing a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Both have access to shaded decks as well. Upstairs is another king master suite with TV featuring his and her closets and a shower stall in the bathroom. The spacious open living, dining, and kitchen area boasts beautiful ocean views and a gas fireplace to keep you cozy through those cool nights. Step out onto the sundeck to watch the sunrise or count the stars by night. When you’re ready to get some sand between your toes, the community path to the beach is right across the street. The beach is about a 2 minute walk away. The ground level patio area with picnic table and gas grill is a great place to grab lunch before heading back to the beach. The outdoor shower features hot and cold water. A fish cleaning table is located on the other side of the house. Restaurants and watersports activities are also within walking distance, so a good time is never far away. Make FantaSea your vacation choice! Pool available April through October. Heated pool available for additional fee of $200.

Love the house and the location to the beach! It is perfect for our family. It was our 2nd time there which also made it nice because you know the house, and everyone knew where they were going! Also love the pool and the hot tub!

The location was great. Conveniently located. We had a terrific time. The pool was excellent. Just a note the hot tub controls are worn out so hard to tell. We would only critic the cleanliness - the bedding was other than the sheets did not appear to be laundered, the pillows were very old and worn and there was a large build up of dust on fans (which appeared to months build up), cushions of furniture did not appear to have been vacuumed and underneath of them. We knew this because the kids dropped stuff underneath and in the couch. The amount of dust on the fans and vents was concerning given family allergies. Just a quick not during Idalia storm the doors and several windows leaked. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case you didn’t know about the leaking and the quality of the cleaning service you are using. Hope this is helpful feedback

The house was exactly what we wanted. It was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone. Lots of bathrooms!! The pool and hot tub were great. We really liked that there was an extra fridge on the bottom floor and plenty of outdoor seating. When we stayed it rained quite a bit but the house was big enough we were all comfortable to stay inside and wait out the rain. Leading up to our trip any questions I had Kathy would answer right away. Overall we had a great stay and would visit the same area and rent the same house again!!

The FantaSea cottage was awesome and better than the pictures. The cottage had been updated to include tile floors and exceptionally clean. It was extremely windy a few days so the pool and hot tub was a big hit.

Spent a week at FantaSea. The location is great! You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the top deck! We had a group of 8 and the house was very spacious but cozy for all of us. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need and having a fridge on the lower floor was very helpful. We've stayed in Rodanthe/Waves before and really enjoy the low key vibe in that area. We rented bikes which makes it easy to get around town. The beach is just across the road and easy to get to. The OBX is a special place. We had a great time. We would definitely rent the house again.

Cousin Camp 2022
We had the most incredible time staying at FantaSea! It was perfect for our two families with children and being away from the chaos was refreshing. There was the perfect amount of space for the 5 year olds to play while the infant napped and the preteen had some alone time lol. The walk to the beach was short and simple which made carting all the things you need for an infant on the beach easy. The kitchen was by far the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced making cooking for 8 a breeze. The outdoor spaces were awesome! Being able to eat under cover at the picnic table, enjoy the pool and hot tub and enjoying coffee on the many decks was exactly what we had hoped for. We can’t wait to book our cousin camp 2024 as FantaSea is THE PERFECT place to stay.

Spectacular Week
Well supplied house!!! We've stayed at many houses over the years and this one had the best supplied kitchen. We were all thoroughly impressed!! Two fridges took the overflow which was nice to have. There was an outside shower and two hoses to use so we could enter the pool and hot tub sand free. (We tried anyway...some always hangs in your suits.) The pool was shaded in the afternoon which we loved after a day at the beach. The views were spectacular from the various decks. It was a plus having the RV park near as your view was tons better than having a bunch of houses. We loved seeing the families enjoying the beach and flying American flags. You'd think the beach would be crowded but it never was. Another huge plus was the private baths with the bedrooms. Two shared a bath which was no problem but it was nice for the older folks to not have the youngsters in with us. :) All in all the house was fantastic and so much so we booked it again for next year.

We had some issues with the top floor air conditioning working, but was ok with the fans on and doors open and the King bed in the top floor needed pillows piled in the center as not to both end up in the center of the bed as there was a big dip in the bed. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely book this house again.

The FantaSea is a beautiful place to spend your vacation!! It was everything the owner said it would be for the amazing hottub to warm beautiful pool (you must pay for the heater) it's so relaxing. The owners are really nice and helpful and answered all our questions. So if a quiet relaxing vacation is you're looking for then the FantaSea is perfect for you!!

This was our first time renting a property and we were just amazed on this property. It was very clean and had everything that we needed and would go back again. The kids had a blast with all the room and being so close to the beach and the adults were very pleased with everything the house had to offer. We look forward going back again. I would suggest this house to anyone that would love all the necessities of home.

We found markers and crayons under the couch’s also on the banisters we found a lot of dog hair and really dusty. Also another thing the beds could have been a little more comfortable. I feel the mattress could be changed out. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and my family loved it and we hope to return next year.

Wonderful Place
This house was AMAZING! Rooms were spacious and clean, very well stocked kitchen. The top deck is a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Maybe a three min walk to the beach! Private pool. Mary was awesome and very responsive. We will stay here again and would recommend to others! It was a wonderful vacation for our family to finally get together since Covid began. Thanks for such great memories!

We were looking for a place close to the beach, with a private pool, and big enough to accommodate 6 adults and one child comfortably, and this house fit the bill. The kitchen was well stocked to cook meals, as we preferred not to eat out with the current COVID situation. Bedrooms were all spacious, and everyone was comfortable. Views from the balconies, especially on the top level, were beautiful. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, and added to us being able to relax. Both of my girls are front line workers (doctor and occupational therapist) and have taken care of COVID patients since the start of the pandemic, so we were looking for a private retreat for them to safely be away to relax. My 3 1/2 year old grandson loved the pool, and there were plenty of sand toys available for him to take to the beach. We were very lucky to have wonderful weather all week. If we can coordinate all of our schedules again, we'd love to come back, and would recommend this house to my friends and family if asked.

Very Relaxing, with a little work.
VRBO was very good. A lot of steps to climb. Kitchen on top floor with one bedroom. My wife and I are 66 years old, so we made sure we had everything we needed for the trip down the stairs. Great thing is, the 5 BR house., swimming pool and spa. If you don't like sand you can spend the whole week right where you are. Easy to find and great people to work with for a vacation.

Perfect house and location
This property was very clean and updated. We loved the outdoor area with the pool and hot tub and privacy fence. A ton of seating outside to relax. Views from 3rd floor of ocean were amazing. Tons of storage space and kitchen cabinets. They had everything you need. We had a family of 10 stay comfortably. If you like a low key vacation with a short walk to beach this is a great spot. Owner was very quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.
