Good location

When we got there we noticed the house was unlocked and several outside door locks were broken. One of the bathrooms wouldn’t lock. A shelf in the refrigerator was broken. There was nails sticking out on the steps. We couldn’t lock the house when we left to go places. The living room carpet was filthy. There was food on pans and in bedroom drawers. The trash can outside was overflowing and there was trash on the ground. The AC would not cool the house properly. The house usually stayed around 77 degrees and got up to 80 degrees. Someone came to fix the AC but he said the unit was too small for that size of house, and he couldn’t fix it. There were pictures of a pool but no pool. The description said a children’s playground but there was not one.

The location is great.

For $2,400 a couple extra rolls of toilet paper and 2 extra trash bags would have been nice.

Proximity to the ocean

One hour before arrival , I received a phone call from the local Vacasa manager. She informed me that , due to several complaints, the air unit was being replaced the following morning with work beginning at 7 am and finishing around noon . The work took about four hours longer than scheduled due to the difference of the units. The thermostat reading when we arrived at the house was 86. After the unit was replaced , the lowest temperature read during our stay was 77. Parking was available under the house . My family brought two vehicles . A brick sized piece of the house fell off and hit the toolbox of our truck . We were thankful it did not hit the body or the windshield so did not cause damage. We had problems with the tv in the house , but local management ( who was very courteous to us ) replaced the tv in the main living area
