Location… fairly central to all. Easy walking distance to town center. Easy 15min drive to Acadia.
Facilities/properties were pretty run down and dirty. Poor value for the price. Unfortunately was in a bind and had to chose a place at the 11th hour due to an issue with the other booking so had to take whatever was available. Not a place I would chose again or would recommend to others. Staff was very monosyllabic and not overly helpful or knowledgeable.

the location was convenient. Loved the free parking. Staff was friendly.
The breakfast choices were very limited. Ran out of coffee frequently. The room was very congested and not user friendly.
7.0
Room was fine and location was good.
Needed a fan in the bathroom - got very damp and slippery after just a shower!
4.0
Location was good.
Staff were not helpful with recommendations. No restaurant or pool. Line ups for breakfast and food gone if not early enough.
8.0
The fact that we weren't in the main building ... it wasn't written in the room description.

Excellent location with few minutes to Acadia national park and downtown Bar Harbor. Big room with updated new bathroom. Lot of choices for the breakfast. Very confortable stay. Definitely will stay next time and recommend.
Nothing.

They had a decent selection of breads, oatmeal, yogurt, and a waffle maker
Property is spread out. We were in an out building which was very poorly lit outside.

location was perfect
booked a king room they gave us a room with two double beds
9.0
Short and easy stroll to restaurants and bay side, Comprehensive breakfast, hassle free room services
Should provide cloth hangers for winter clothing in rooms

We were given a room without anywhere to hang our clothes. The room was not quite finished being remodeled. We requested another room but after a couple of hours waiting, we accepted the room given to us. The hotel was obviously short staffed.
9.0
The staff was super helpful and friendly. The shuttle service to and from the airport was great. The daily breakfast hit the spot.
7.0
The location was good and close to town, except too close to a traffic light intersection. Loud during the night
The breakfast was lousy. I understand being short staffed but it could have been better.

Location was great. We were in town for marathon and my daughter walked to the start. We also walked to downtown for dinner and to walk around at night.
Beds were comfortable and you could tell bathroom had been updated.
Breakfast was only until 9:30 and when we went down at 9:20 pastry or selections were gone. Thought we did enjoy coffee, tea, yogurt and apples.

Location was good. Close to town

The location is great. It’s a short walk to Bar Harbor. The room was clean and recently refurbished. Staff were pleasant and allowed us to check in early.
Wifi wasn’t really useable. The hotel seemed a little expensive for what it was - a former Days Inn. Having been there and had a chance to see what’s in the vicinity, if you don’t need the flexibility of being able to cancel, there are other cheaper hotels with more character and amenities.
8.0
location, walkable to town; close to Acadia NP
needs maintenance outside building and has worn out bathrooms; second floor stay is tough if not used to carrying up and down stairs
7.0
The location was relatively close to the main areas of Bar Harbor (about a 1 mile walk) but for half the cost of staying directly on the Main Street.
Nothing really comes to mind as we went to hike and didn't stay in the room much past showering and sleeping.

Since the staff tried to help, I didn’t give them 1 star, but in short don’t stay here if you want to feel safe and welcome. My room door was slightly ajar when I got there, the chain lock was broken and the windows were unlocked. When I asked to switch rooms, they switched me to a first floor room where someone had broken the locks on the windows. I didn’t stay the night and I’m still waiting for my refund. As a solo female traveler this was not a good choice. Also, it’s dog friendly but the only grass I could find was a two foot divider on the other side of the parking lot right next to the busy street.

comfy beds. ease to park
limited breakfast, needs upgrades, outside seating not cleaned up for sitting.

It is in the town, though on the far edge, so about a half mile walk to restaurants and the village green. Good bed, great pillows, fridge and microwave in the room.
Only ever spoke to staff at check in. Seemed mostly concerned with how I would react to the room only getting serviced every three days. I didn't feel like it was worth it to ask for any advice about the town, etc.
While it was quiet at night, could hear the other guests in their rooms.
No one ever came to service the room at any point during my 4 day stay. I suppose I could have taken out the trash myself. The room was damp despite using a/c and the towels I used never really dried..

the rooms were clean
the outside could look a little more appealing

Very clean, basic accommodations. Ample supply of bath towels and amenities. Central, prominent location. Easy bike ride to area attractions and downtown Bar Harbor. Very good price/value for area.
In room maid service—cleaning and beds— every third day is a psychological hardship only. Supplies readily available.

location was great.
no elevator to second floor

Breakfast was extremely limited and there was no where to sit to eat except occasional chairs in the reception area.
Breakfast offerings and seating inadequate

Newly renovated. Mattress was awesome. No carpet! Great showerhead. Checkin was great, friendly staff
Some rooms are quite close to the busy intersection but you are also a 4 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbour so it's a give and take

Location is key for what would otherwise be a mediocre hotel. Downtown Bar Harbor is within walking distance and entry into the national park is easily accessible from the ample parking lot. We've stayed directly downtown before and it can be difficult to get your car in and out of downtown with all the people walking. This hotel is right on the outskirts and works perfectly.
The rooms were recently renovated (2022?) and align with what you get with any modern chain hotel. The beds were super comfortable... or maybe we were just exhausted after hiking. Overall, I can't complain about the rooms, but wasn't blown away. Perfectly adequate.
Everything was fine.
