The best thing about this place is the location. But, that seems to be the only plus. I was lucky that the other women in the bunk beds were incredibly kind, but I would not recommend being in a shared living situation.
The bathrooms DO NOT HAVE A LOCK. The women's restrooms are directly next to the mens, without a lock. The showers are in the bathroom as well. I do not appreciate the lack of security at this facility. Would not recommend for a female. I was paranoid about my stuff not having a lock, everything in the rooms is out in the open.

A big open kitchen, and it was close to where I needed to be
Chris from the Hostel was incredibly kind and accommodating
The beds were uncomfortable, and there were too many kids there

The property is clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Chris helped me find a bed so I could extend my stay by a day when they were all booked up. Luckily a cancellation happened and he got me that bed. I jammed on guitar with Ryan and enjoyed talking music with him.
The hostel has no downsides. It would be nice if the bus ran twice an hour but that’s about the only thing that would make it better.

Convenient location. Beautiful property, stocked kitchen, ample parking , clean bathrooms, outdoor shower, and ample parking.

EVERYTHING!! Kitchen facilities were wonderful. Outdoor areas,esp shower & grilling were great!! The bus stop being just across the street was an added plus! Nice, friendly staff & guests. Of course, there's always a few weirdos.....

We didn't partake in breakfast
Pillows were a little worn out, understand why they don't allow personal pillows/bedding but sure wish I could have used my own pillow. A small problem indeed.

The staff was so kind, especially the guy with long hair who gave me excellent advice on the MV bus route. Without his help, I wouldn't have made it to the ferry port. There's a yoga studio and farm 1.6 miles from the hostel, and both places were amazing.
The shower was a bit outdated and not clean, and people just left their stuff in the bathroom. It's not the hostel's responsibility, but at the end of August, there aren't enough buses running on the island, so you should plan beforehand. Especially after 3 or 4, there aren't many buses coming to the hostel. On arrival day, I took uber from the ferry station, which cost around 40 dollars.
