central location to Hollywood close to restaurants shops and even a strip club. safe permitted parking for guests.

lack of a curb appeal. the old faded sign and lack of imagination. missing office chair for table.

the staff was very nice and it let me check early and late.

the walls were a little dusty and the closet door was not attached properly.

central location walking distance to public trans and plenty of places to eat shop and party at the strip joint down the street and surrounded by gay men! the price was right too.

Knew to bring my own bedding as the sheets that may look clean had stains so I pulled the sheets out and laid on the floor since I knew it wasn’t throughly clean.

It is close to the Walk Of Fame. Free Parking.

toilet wasn’t working. shower drain clogged and water draining slowly. water pressure low. dirty carpets. lack of door security.

I wouldn’t go back even if it was free. - The person working in the front was kind enough to let us switch our room from one with a king bed to one with two doubles because we had extra friends come at the last minute BUT the switch required a $30 “all cash fee” which I’m sure he pocketed. Super unprofessional but whatever. - When we parked originally to check in, our car was a little crooked because we assumed we would have to move our car closer to the room. We ended up not having to move the car but didn’t fix our parking job. The back right wheel was slightly over the line, nothing crazy. The person working at the front literally wrote “park right dumbass” as he marked the cars in the lot registered to hotel guests with window paint. - I expected the room wasn’t going to be great but it was bad in an unsafe way…no screen on windows, and old fire-hazardy heater, blackish mold in the showers, etc. The pool omfg I can’t…..

1) 18$ charge for paying with a credit card. 2) very bad smell. 3) front office empty for long periods of time, I had to have housekeeping call someone for help. 4) 175$ a night after all the various "taxes and charges"? TOTAL RIPOFF. This place was clean but not worth anything NEAR 175$ a night.

the rooms needed some remodelation

It gave us the room we needed for the time we were there. It did have a pool. It was remodeled but very very poor remodeling job.

So many things. Booking.com advertises all taxes and fees included in the price and you pay on arrival. Some hotels charge as soon as you check-in others when you leave. Both ways are fine but what is not fine is to charge additional hidden fees. The man told me the total and I specifically asked him if there were any other charges because sometimes they hold an incidental fee. He told me no and repeated the total. He took my card and when handed the receipt it was $50.00 more than the total stated. I asked why and he said a 3.5% charge for paying with card. I was livid. I told him he could have said that and I would have gotten cash, but he cannot charge any more than what is on the booking website total. It is advertised "all taxes and fees included" in that stated price. We argued back and forth and finally, he told me he would get me when the manager came. 30 minutes later He knocks on my door to come down and speak to the manager. We argue back and forth and I told him he is stealing from people and I had called to notify Booking.com. He was very angry but did give me the $50 back. I told him if he wants to charge this he has to include it in his ad on Booking. He said nothing. I would say it is safe to assume he is already charging it in the price he is just trying to charge it twice to earn 7% on every booking. Robbery. As if that was not bad enough, the remodeling was happening during our stay. The entire area should have been blocked off. They had ladders and scaffolding up against the building. You had to walk directly under all of this to enter and exit your room, you had cords on the ground to walk over, and they were painting while we were in our rooms. The actual doors to our rooms! At one point if I had walked out of my door I would have been spray painted in the face. It was dangerous with the ladders and scaffolding and probably I question the liability insurance for potential safety issues.
