The cottage had everything and was spacious. The fireplace was wonderful.

The original room we booked was small and didn’t have a fireplace. For $30 we were able to upgrade to a full cottage with a kitchen and fireplace. If I had stayed in that first room I certainly would not have given a positive review.

Location is perfect, no breakfast was offered

If you came 30 minutes earlier and the room is ready, why not to let people in, why we have to wait 20 min and park outside? Nobody mentioned about breakfast.

- Free breakfast is a bit of a stretch. Sure, if you’re a fan of breakfast cereals then you’re in luck as that is pretty much the only option… We needed to get our breakfast elsewhere.

The property is absolutely charming! Our room was spacious and comfortable. We never heard anyone around us. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of flowering plants, lawn areas, lounge chairs, seating areas, etc. It is also a very short walk to Asilomar beach, which is also gorgeous. They are also dog friendly and we brought our dog, but we never heard barking dogs in the other rooms. It is very soundproof and quiet. We visit Monterey and Pacific Grove often because our boys live here. We have definitely found our new haven. Kudos to the management!

The breakfast was minimal, i.e., a continental breakfast, but sufficient to get your day started.

great location, great owners & staff, they think of everything, rooms are comfortable, the shower is terrific, love the patio, love that it’s dog friendly, appreciate the breakfast items…can’t think of one thing they didn’t think of

The property was charming and quiet. Plenty of room to roam without feeling overcrowded. There is a lovely place for pets to romp and play. It is a quick walk through Asilomar to reach the beach which allows dogs.

Beautiful and convenient location, cozy property with everything you may need during your stay. Friendly and helpful staff. It’s surrounded by beautiful and meticulously taken care of grounds. Short walk away from my favorite beach. This will be my new go to place in Pacific Grove / Monterey.

Everything was great. The only improvement it could use is to eventually update the appliances (such as the fridges etc, having said that, they function well and are clean, so it’s not really an issue) and the water faucets especially the one in the kitchen. Another thing to be mindful of is if you are staying on the ground floor, you will be hearing your neighbors stomp.

It is close to the beach. It’s a wonderful little hidden gem. it’s situated in a quiet neighborhood.

Comfy bed, extremely clean and home-like residential spaces (bedroom, full kitchen, little patio and yard) in each cabin. It's quiet and the location can't be beat.

Very Comfortable bed and quiet

We could only get one channel on the TV. One of the milks was bad. I had expected a tub shower to give a three-year-old a bath, but that was not a problem.

We spend our anniversary here every year for the past 10+ years and we love it. Wouldn't stay anyplace else when in Monterey/Pacific Grove ❤
