Sep 2021We were pleasantly surprised - the room was spacious , simply but tastefully decorated , modern bathroom facilities, and very functional kitchen facilities ( loved the fridge ) The breakfast on our second day was a very nice touch and Stephanie was a likable host.
It didn't bother us but for some of the older guests , a grab bar in the shower might be beneficial.

Apr 2022We loved staying at this place. The location was very central, the room was ready when we arrived, the room was cozy and the kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean. We weren't expecting a breakfast but were surprised with a full continental breakfast. Toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave were included, and plenty of coffee, that was great!
The room door still has the antique key hole, it would be nice to cover it for privacy purposes :)
Other than that, we have no complaints.

Jul 2022We liked the location, the fridge, the air con and the look of the room and shower.
Unfortunately I didn't realize that this establishment suites accommodated families with young children. We were on the 2nd level and could hear above us on the 3rd floor children screaming and stomping in the evening and as early as 6AM. Will not return.

Aug 2021We liked the location of the property and the beautiful room. Breakfast was yummy as well.
The parking situation could be a problem if you were staying for a while and didn’t want to worry about moving it all the time. We didn’t worry about it. The self serve wasn’t my favourite but I think it might be a sign of the times.

Feb 2022The room Has a nice mix of historic charm with modern amenities like the amazing bathroom and huge shower. Bed is super comfortable. It is situated on a small street with many shops and restaurants. Owner/host is very friendly and communication was exceptional. Love this place.

Aug 2021The property is a beautiful old house and the suites, which are spacious and very clean, offer modern amenities. We could walk to all restaurants in Westport as well as some wonderful shops. The Pinecone is well worth a visit.
If you want to eat at the Cove, you should make reservations as they’re very busy.

Nov 2021The location was key, walking distance to everything Westport has to offer. Bed was comfortable, I was almost asleep before I hit it. Owner was kind and friendly and brought breakfast to the room.
That we couldn't stay longer
Just what we needed for a winter get away.
Feb 2022The location was just what we wanted. Very quiet. Town wasn’t bustling because it was off season but that was expected. Victorian house was so pretty and the rooms where well equipped. The loft room was great as a hang out for two couples. Very close to Foley Mountain Conservation area for winter hiking. Three restaurants in town we went to had good food and friendly staff. Took some nice country drives. Beautiful town of Perth was close by, so we went for lunch and bought a piece of art.
Walkway to house was quite icy and was not salted at any time during our 3 day stay.
Long staircases to rooms on second and third floor were okay for us but may be a problem for others.
Adding a fireplace to the loft room, even if it was gas or electric would be a nice addition.

May 2022The location was great. Right in the heart of the village. The hostess allowed us to have a fire in their backyard which was special. The room is well equipped, even with creamers for coffee in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

The water pressure in the king's suite's shower was low, but everywhere else it was great.
I cannot speak to the rest of the Inn, but our suite was very nice.

There was some noise transfer between rooms/floors.
The front door could use a curtain for additional privacy.

Oct 2021Stephanie - the owner - was the most welcoming person and so warm. The rooms were IMMACULATE and well appointed. Communication about our reservation was timely and accurate. Our breakfast was more than we needed and very tasty. Very happy with this bed and breakfast.
There really wasn't anything we didn't like. Stephanie went out of her way to ensure our needs were met - and they were.

The room is luxurious, with every amenity you would expect. Super clean, modern and the beds and pillows were of the highest quality. Best sleep in a long time. You have to wait for the hot water so just turn it on and do something else for a few minutes.
