Even our car was washed in the morning. Super service.

May 2021We have stayed before, it’s the wonderful location right on the stunning Beach that makes it so special and the staff are all amazing. lovely welcoming lady at reception and fabulous breakfast. It is great to see they have small a fridge in the rooms now. We would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Sep 2022Very beautifully located between a lagoon and the ocean. Quiet and calm. Good breakfast. Warm rooms even if it was cold outside. Very clean. Car was cleaned!

Feb 2023This hotel is in a beautiful setting with a good restaurant next door. The rooms that we booked was spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were available and fresh water in the fridge. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the lounge areas pleasant to sit in. The breakfast was served in the restaurant next door. No buffet service but good quality food to order.
Towels and bath mat were removed on servicing the room but were not replaced (an oversight I am sure).
Buffet breakfast would have been preferred for cold items.

It’s not the most modern, but Milkwood is a great place to stay in Plett.
Mar 2023The location is absolutely perfect, very quiet with the beach right outside the window. Great views to wake up to. Excellent soft poached eggs at breakfast. Lovely staff at reception and on breakfast duty.
Beginning to look and feel slightly dated (we’ve been visiting for more than 15 years). Need to sort out water pressure in showers (depends who else is using!), the strength of the Wi-Fi and the TV channel choices and invest in new, higher quality bathroom linens.

Oct 2021The facility is right at the beach. A walk away from a number of eateries. Ample parking on the property. Breakfast had plenty of options and was the freshest brekkie i have had at a guesthouse.

Lovely off-season stay
Aug 2021Service was friendly and accommodating. No complaints other than facilities which were out of the staffs power. Breakfast was simple but tasty.
Wifi was down (not the staffs fault!) and there were issues with flushing the toilet.
Otherwise, just a suggestion would be to offer a little index of restaurants in Plett and the area or generally facilities in a clear overview.

Sep 2022Secured parking lot, good breakfast with several options, pretty beach views, large room, heated floors in bathroom, great water pressure in showers, very helpful staff, laundry service was exceptional, the staff even helped us find an emergency room when needed
We had ants in the room. They were treated and many were dying but many live ones kept coming in. There was only one restaurant walking distance but it also made it more quiet being away from the town center.
