Jun 2022Wonderful getaway. Lovely comfortable accommodation with beautiful views of distant sea and well cared for surroundings. Delicious meals are served by very competent chef. Hosts are charming and staff very helpful

Jan 2023We have had a lovely stay at Jbay Zebra Lodge. Breakfast was very good. Part served at the table and the other part a la carte. We have stayed in a luxury tent that was well equiped with outstanding views. Staff was very helpfull.

Mar 2022This is a very unusual place. Only few rooms and 2 tents. Zebra's are walking free over the plot. We stayed in a tent with outside shower. Fantastic view and very luxury. The dinner was pricy but excellent. Very clean place ran by a Swiss couple so it was all in perfect condition. Thanks!
We stayed in a tent which is what we liked. Unfortunately it was very windy so the tent made quit some noise. No compliant but just to mention.

Nov 2021The zebras were amazing!! Such an experience waking up to Zebras outside your room. The lodges and facilities were beautiful. There were also amazing views!

The dinner menu is absolutely overpriced and not worth the money.
We had to leave early so we had to skip breakfast and asked for a breakfast to go the night before. This was disappointing as well.
I needed the break and I came to just relax and unwind. it’s such a beautiful property

They must work on their breakfast and especially DINNER menu.. I didn’t enjoy my dinner at all😔 they must have options of their dinner menu since it’s very pricey the quality must speak volumes. coz I thought there will be shops bliss by so I didn’t bring food so I waited for dinner only to. r disappointed ☹️

Jan 2022The closeness with the Zebras and other animals is great.
The lack of a kitchen facility on the tents is bad.
There should be an age restriction for the tents to just adults & teenagers, the decks are not safe for the kids.
Also the owners refusal for guests to be visited at the lodge and complaints about kids noise is not good hospitality for guests.
All in all the place should just be a couple's retreat and not allow families with children if they cannot cater for that.
Lastly, the property is not in Jaybay, the name is misleading as the property is very far from Jaybay.
