Oct 2019We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and slept so well! The beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped with generous provisions. Ample games and activities for the kids and we really appreciated the great tips re wineries to visit. We would love to return!!!

Jan 2020We had a wonderful stay. Gorgeous views of McLaren Vale. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Lots of room to spread out. Generous breakfast supplies and everything you need if you want to cook there. Christine provided us with a large portacot and highchair. All set up and ready to go. No extra charge for these. Very handy! Excellent communication and check in process. Highly recommended.

Jul 2021We had a fabulous stay at the Avocado Farm, and really enjoyed our few days there. The apartment was fully equipped and well stocked with every item you could think of. The hosts were great, really friendly and communicative. Would highly recommend and would return to stay again.

Jun 2019Very quiet and close to McLaren Vale, the comfortable large apartment has tremendous views over the town.
There are 2 a/c to keep you warm/cool and fans to compliment them. The main bedroom is not huge but large enough and has good wardrobe space to unpack for a week or more.
A washing machine and drying rack are also very helpful for those travelling for a while.
The Main living space and kitchen is an open area and a good size and also very comfortable and useable. Lots of games available if you want to stay indoors.
We didn't get around to using most of the breakfast supplies but these looked fine as was a complimentary bottle of wine.
The bathroom only had a small vanity but otherwise this was very functional with a separate toilet also helpful.
Hosts were pleasant and very helpful for what we needed but we didn't really see a lot of them.
Overall a very comfortable stay in a beautiful location only 1 km from town.
Recommended.

Jun 2022This is a fabulous property. Every day waking up to a rolling hill view was breathtaking. Location is central. Excellent size bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. We could not have wished for better. To top it off, the kitchen was stocked very generously with supplies and choice of coffee machine and filtered coffee. The farm is tranquil. I would love to come again in the summer to see the difference. We were welcomed by our host, Christine on the first night which was nice and the following day by Arthur the dog. Loved every minute of our stay and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you for having us.

Nov 2022This BnB is perfect for a couple or anyone wanting a quiet location to recharge the batteries. The accommodation has 2 beautiful bedrooms with “very comfortable” king size beds, a fully equipped kitchen (with breakfast goodies) and comfortable soft furnishings throughout. The host Christine, greeted us as we arrived, which was lovely. The property is situated on an avocado farm, with beautiful views over the orchards, with a hills backdrop. away from traffic noise, but 2 mins from the main street of Mclaren Vale, shops and wineries. This is our 2nd time we have had the pleasure of staying here, looking forward to our next stay.

Sep 2019The accommodation at the Avocado Farm was Peaceful Clean and Everything you need you for quick gettaway or a longer stay. Walking distance to Shops and Cafes. The owners of the property are wonderful people.

Sep 2019Peaceful, quiet, secluded farmstay in McLaren Vale. Kitchen well stocked and living areas comfortable. Breakfast is supplied to make at your own leisure. All you need for self catered accommodation. Beautiful valley views. Very comfortable large bed. As this is in a rural region, care with use of water is appreciated. No hesitation in booking again.

Nov 2020Our third stay at the Avocado Farm and as per usual it was great. Christine is a lovely host and happy to make sure you have a great stay. The views out to the Willunga Hills are great to look over at the end of the day with a glass of wine in hand. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Jan 2020Our family stayed on the farm and loved our time there. It was in the heart of McLaren Vale wine region. Our hosts supplied great provisions and it was greatly appreciated. We were constantly on the go and the hosts were great with explanations and instructions for everything so we never had to really ask or want for anything. Overall, a great place!
