Jun 2021Wonderful welcome from very hospital hosts. Room and bathroom spotlessly presented. Although the room had no kitchen facilities, we could keep items in the family fridge. We were welcome to make tea and coffee in the family kitchen. Indeed, we were served tea and muffins one afternoon. We enjoyed a simple breakfast of toast or muesli with fresh fruit, and a selection of teas or plunger coffee.
This is a homestay. There is no independent entrance. One must pass through the host's family room to access the bedroom. The bathroom and toilet are across a passage, but we enjoyed the total privacy of the passage. We found the location perfect for our purposes, but some might find it rather remote and isolated.

Jan 2023Trish & John are extremely kind hosts. They took very good care of us and ensure we feel like at home. The terrace overlooking the wonderful garden is a perfect place for a drink at night or breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed it a lot.
The bedroom is very comfortable. The bathroom well equipped and spot on. Many thanks and we will come back should we decide to visit the region again.

A lovely few days spent sightseeing in Kerikeri and would definitely recommend John and Trish’s beautiful home.

Sharing the living room and kitchen facilities with the host meant we felt we were impinging on their space although John and Trish were lovely.

It was so nice to have my breakfast on the front porch with the beautiful view, complete with homemade yoghurt, muesli and preserved pears. They also provided me with recommendations for the best dinner spots in the area. I would certainly stay again.

Dec 2022Owners were really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. We forgot an item at the BnB and Trish contacted us and coordinated with us a spot, where we could meet up to get it back, that was handy to us.
Incredible garden was great for the toddler to explore.

Jun 2021It was out of town but not too far and located in a nice quiet neighbourhood surrounded by nature. Perfect if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle.
John and Trish are excellent hosts where good conversations were exchanged with ease and laughter.
