The rooms are very spacious and well equipped (be warned though that the kitchenettes cannot be used even though they are advertised on Booking.com). The staff are lovely and help with whatever you need. Furthermore, the resort is well located close to the beach, restaurants and surfing. Overall we had a truly lovely stay and recommend Kalipay to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury break in the Philippines!

Feb 2023Very big comfortable rooms. Quiet at night. Good location - 5 minutes from both General Luna town proper and Cloud 9 by bike/trike - the best of both. Very easy to get around.

Dec 2021This is actually the fourth resort I have stayed in Siargao, and I have to say that this was my absolute favorite, I will be sure to book the same place on future visits to the island. It's a little bit more expensive than some other options, but it's worth it.

Jan 2023The location- its along the highway near cloud9, the room- very spacious and clean. Lots of towels 😊. The staff are kind and polite specially the manager and even the owner was very hands on. Overall, i love my stay and difinitely will be back.
No restaurant at the moment but they are willing to assist for the delivery. Also there are lots of restaurant nearby.

The staff is not just nice and helpful but proactive. They often anticipated our needs and worked to provide us with a great experience. We felt welcomed and cared all the time.
Facilities
Beautifully decorated, spotless clean, hot shower with high pressure, room was cleaned every day, nice pool, big room with big balcony… everything was thought in the detail level to make a pleasant stay for the guests.
Location
The location is quiet. There’s good coffee shops, restaurants, and a small convenience store around the resort. We also took the tricycles to the center area where the restaurant offer is abundant. The journey is around 4 minutes and cost us 30 pesos per person. They tricycles were constantly passing, we never have to wait to get one.
For my personal taste, the bed was a little bit too hard. But this would not prevent me to book again with Kalipay.

Jan 2023I would highly recommend Kalipay and I will definitely be back again in the future. The room was so spacious and clean. The service was exceptional ALL the staff were so so lovely and really went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. The resort is located next to nice cafés and restaurant and is about 5 minutes away from general Luna and cloud 9 by motorbike.

AMAZING AND WOULD NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE BUT KALIPAY
Mar 2023First thing is first, Gian is the most lovely, cheerful and helpful angel we have ever met. From the moment we got to Kalipay she greeted us with the kindest smile and helped us with absolutely everything with scooter hire, surf bookings and recommendations, general questions and information it was very refreshing. As for the accommodation it was a dream. If someone was to open their own resort and ask me for advice I would tell them to copy Kalipay, the shower, the room, the water just everything is perfect. We stayed only 3 days in Siargao and that is still my biggest regret since being back. If I could do my whole Philippines trip again I would spend much more time here, every single staff member from the cleaners, to security, to the gentleman who was taking care of the garden are all so kind and accomodating.
ALSO THEY HAVE THE BEST COCONUTS ON ARRIVAL!
There was nothing to not like, the best thing about Kalipay is you are far away enough from Siargao Centre where you don't need to deal with the noise and traffic but close enough where if you need to get absolutely anywhere you are more than close enough. Also exactly opposite the resort is the best and every morning when the weather allowed us we would just cross the road and enjoy the sunrise with the cutest hermit crabs.

Oct 2019Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Good location. Rooms where beautiful, clean and extremely environmentally friendly they had recycling for soft plastics and baskets to borrow if you wanted to go shopping.

Jan 2021Amazing and super welcoming team, that were very willing to give inside information of best spaces in Siargao. Kalipay is located directly on Tourism road, so while it does not have beach access, within a 5 minute scooter ride you are both in down-town General Luna or at Cloud 9. Wifi was fine, unlike what we read in earlier reviews - we also brought our own portable hotspot and that also worked well.
