Dec 2021We loved our stay at the Presidential suite at Taj, Kovalam for my Parents’ birthday. The team had set up a surprise birthday message for them upon arrival into the villa.
Special thank you to Mr. Attivaram and team for their excellent hospitality! All staff were very accommodating our various requests - always with a smile. It will be in the top 5 of our best vacations globally.
We highly recommend staying at Taj, Kovalam and will be sure to stay here again!

Nov 2022Very ideal location to have a family vacation. Well maintained and managed resort and since it is from the prestigious TAJ group, it lives up to its expectations.
Each room is very spacious and our room view was towards the sea. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. My kids enjoyed the bath tub experience.
Swimming pool is very cleanly maintained. Sea view from swimming pool is also amazing.
They own a private beach, which is very clean. Towards beach side they got a shack and they provide a high tea during sunset time. Having tea and viewing that beautiful sunset has to be experienced. It was lovely.
For kids engagement also they got many games, like archery, badminton, chess, carrom etc but I would have loved if they created some indoor badminton facility.
Staff very courteous. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing and Relaxing experience
Mar 2022very friendly staff. Right from the reception, Ms. Jasmine was very very helpfull in explaining the facilities available at he resort. All the staff working there, specially Mr. Sanil and Kichu.. very friendly people.

Mar 2023This place is amazing. I had visited in 2015 and found it great, and had always wanted to go back. The attention paid to landscaping, with unique plants and trees, gives it a real tropical vibe. The staff were so helpful - both the restaurant managers, and Jasmine at the reception, made everything so easy. I think its one of the best resorts in Kerala - highly recommended!
Luscious Keralan paradise
Jan 2023This hotel has vast luscious grounds and beautiful architecture and design. The pool area is gorgeous but the lagoon and just walking around is a real treat, full of Keralan beauty. The hotel grounds are huge but there aren’t that many rooms giving a real sense of having something special for yourself. The staff make the stay special and can’t do enough for every guest. The treatments at the spa were divine. And the food, unsurprisingly, was delicious. I loved my stay here.

Natesh ensured my valentines expectation was met. The chefs were too good and were customized food to meet every guests needs.
I forgot my gold chains. The property called and informed me. I went back and collected it.
Over all a great experience of all Taj properties I stayed in. Be it service, food, going the extra mile etc. to serve guests. The activities are great too.
Property needs to be renovated and some hardware in bathroom that be replaced.

Aug 2022The property was beautiful on the whole - we booked the villa with a plunge pool, the view was amazing. Bait restaurant was top notch.My kids loved the activities during high tea -kite flying,cycling,boating etc.

Jun 2021The property is well maintained. The scenic beauty is worth mentioning. At this pandemic time, the team has really ensured that no compromises are done to safety and hygiene of the guests. Not to mention the exemplary behaviour of staffs. From reception desk staff to house keeping staffs, a big hats off guys :) Thanks one again for the surprise anniversary cake and arrangements done for us during our stay. Really recommend to everyone
This is something which can be improved from my perspective. Since the food being on the expensive side, we expect the quantity served to be also fair. The tastes of the food served were good but quantity wise were not upto the expectations.

Sep 2021The location of the resort is their strength and they have beautifully utilized it , lush greens , pretty beach and amazing sunset are the few things you will be witnessing here without any fail.
They had complimentary tea and snacks and breakfast too . The property was well maintained and the services was good enough from start to end .
As this a star hotel I expected some more items for the breakfast menu , the items were less comparatively , but still they managed to serve everything in a really good way .

A wonderful and relaxing break by the ocean
Sep 2021The location and lush tropical landscaping were breathtaking. Owing to the COVID pandemic we could not swim in the pool and, due to the monsoon, the beach was closed. Yet, the views and walks were fantastic. We loved the interiors of the room too - beautifully designed. The entire staff - from the front office to housekeeping was very hospitable.
While a great effort was made by the restaurants in the hotel to customise food (without onion, garlic, chillies) - except for few odd easy dishes, it seemed like quite a challenge. We appreciate this effort but it could have been executed with much more creativity and finesse (with the use of other spices, olives for western dishes, etc).
The Booking.com website said there is a "coffee machine" in the room. This has been incorrectly put on the booking website - there is only an electric kettle and instant Nescafe. On informing, the staff made arrangements for a french press.
