The staff were all friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful every day as was all the food we had there. The setting is also stunning with the gardens and surrounding hills of tropical paradise.

The room was well below expectations. The furniture was dated and the room felt dingy. Something in the bathroom was leaking and the floor was constantly wet and slippery. My spouse slipped and fell and we felt lucky all she got was a huge bruise on her hip. Every other place we have stayed had a fan and/or a dehumidifier to help with the humidity this room had nothing and it was damp and musty the whole time. The window in the bathroom didn't have a screen and when we opened it to let a breeze through it let in so many bugs our bathroom walls were covered! Not a good experience at all! We would not stay at VE again. We would eat there though!

The staff was dedicated and helpful I every way. The breakfast was good (included for us) first day we had an Ala carte style breakfast and after that it was a buffet style (not sure why) but we enjoyed them all. The location was in a tropical valley just lovely and we had a King River side bungalow and loved it - had to take turns in the hammock which is now our favorite form of relaxation. Easy check-in and check-out. Had dinner at Sabor twice and it was very good - chef knows how to make creative menus - good job! It's a tropical paradise and would stay again. The river bungalows are so relaxing.

The accommodations are getting worn and could use a major reburbishment to upgrade them as they have that mustier smell from age and humidity (eliminate the deathtrap bathtub shower combo and have a walk-in shower).

The outdoor pool was not open which was a huge disappointment. At the end of a long trip, we like a resort that we can sit outside and relax and do some swimming. I had stayed here before and thought that it would be perfect. There was no mention that it would be closed for cleaning while we were there for 5 days and only the indoor pool available. The indoor pool is way too warm .

Such a beautiful place. The gym, swimming pool and spa are a great bonus. The kids loved playing mini golf and going to la cascada. The staff was friendly everywhere!! And the food at their restaurant…..so good! We had there one of the best dinners in Boquete! There is a reason why we always come back.

Nothing, even when we wanted to have dessert after lunch they did not even have ice cream or nothing, what resturant does not have any ice cream or desserts?

I booked a room with a bath tub using booking.com, I search and filtered my app ensuring a find a location with a bath tub. I made sure when I search the room I wanted that this room must have a bath tub. I booked this room at $200 and when I arrived I got a room with a shower. Reception just said sorry all this rooms are occupied. If I wanted to pay $200 for a room with a shower i coupd go to a normal hotel. What I hate even more from Booking.com is that when I book rooms I need to take it or lose my money from my credit card. I rethinking if I still need Booking.com app or just when traveling find a place in every town when needed without Booking.com
