InterContinental Nha Trang, an IHG Hotel

Of course staying at the InterContinental you do expect a certain standard, and it didn’t disappoint. The room was simply incredible with an amazing view of the sea and the lighting in the bathroom made you look great! Everything was perfect.

Wifi connection could be better

I liked the polite and attentive staff in the club lounge. They were able to take very good care of us in the lounge. They also ensured that we had a steady supply of nuts, fruit juices and took special care to prepare vegetarian food for us

I was disappointed by the behaviour of the manager of the fitness centre. They said that one of the members of my family could not wear specially designed closed sandals in the fitness centre in spite of being specifically told that this was due to plantar fascitis which precludes people from wearing closed sneakers or trainers due to ankle swelling. However, the manager was curt and very rude. Further when we complained in writing to the supervising management authority, they claimed it was due to "the health department's unannounced inspections" and seemed to also be as curt and passive aggressive in their communication with us. However, on two separate occasions, we spotted the gym staff themselves moving around barefeet in the gym. There was also no effort made by the higher management authority to make sure that we as club access high room tariff paying customers were appeased with any conciliatory gesture in spite of making our abject disappointment with the attitude of the fitness centre manager very clear to him. The breakfast buffet was not arranged in the club lounge on any of the first four mornings of our stay but only on the fifth morning (the date of our early morning checkout) it was arranged on the 18th floor club lounge. Unfortunately due to an early morning flight out of Nha Trang, we could not avail of this facility which should have been a given on all days of our stay. Further, we also spotted a table for four by the window being reserved every morning at the breakfast area on the 1st floor for just one person (possibly because they were friends with this higher management authority and they belonged to a particular race which is considered more privileged). Again, the higher management authorities clearly do not seem to provide the right direction to the obviously hard working, dedicated staff and lower management cadre of the club lounge and the hotel in general.

Great Services I have stayed at number of beach front hotels in Nha Trang (along Tran Phu street) . This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, the staff was amazing, very hospitable, and there for every need of mine, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable a. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. Thank you so much

Executive/Club type room was not available during our stay. We normally stay/select this type of room as we would want to have more private retreat (but it's understandable as it's covid-19 period). We missed coconut coffee. (We were offered coconut coffee last visit)

Friendly staff

It has deteriorated since our last stay 5 years ago. It's much more expensive and breakfast is not included any more.

Everything was absolutely first class. Hotel room was huge with a beautiful panoramic view of the beach and ocean. The staff were excellent, in particular Ha in the restaurant and Quen on reception. Both very helpful.

Everything about the stay was exceptional. One of our party needed extra care as she had a broken leg and the staff did absolutely everything in their power to make our stay as relaxing and carefree as possible. Could not recommend more. Will definitely be back!! It was like a 5 star second home for 6 nights. Loved it.

Everything about our stay was superb. The staff were so friendly, attentive, helpful, polite.... nothing was any trouble, they were just really lovely. The facilities were beautiful. The room was amazing.

If we had to mention something (which is difficult as it was all so fantastic), we did have steak in the restaurant one evening for dinner which was not great... a bit tough. But a very, very small complaint over what was an incredible stay and we would love to return.
