Feb 2023Wonderful food and staff! Rooms where also very nice, clean, and unique outdoor bathroom. The grounds are very well maintained and staff makes sure any needs that arise are meet.
Awesome and relaxing
Mar 2022We were looking for a quiet get away so solitude is what we got! The most pristine beach and a clean pool not crowded in the least. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and luxurious room. Loved the plastic free concept and the way they kept different kinds of RO water in the room, in copper jugs, steel thermos and Glass bottle and jug. The ceramic containers for the lovely ethically sourced shower products impressed us. Sun sets were simply breath taking. The Spa needs a special mention too. Very efficient.
Prawns were actually shrimps in a ghee roast which had too much masala. Food could be less expensive so you don't have to go out looking for places with good food for better price.
Pool facing room actually has no view. It is all blocked by plants. Can see a bit of the ocean at a distance.
Absolute value for money property for the most relaxing vacation.
Apr 2022This is one of the most wonderful properties I have been in. The hermitage's are so well maintained & beautifully designed. The view is the best you can ever ask for. The staff is very well mannered & polite. The quality of food is exceptional. Overall the best property for a peaceful & relaxing vacation.

Jun 2022the property is right on the beach and is very pretty. the rooms are big and well appointed. the staff need a special mention. mr Jayam and mr sasi and Nitin too. they are very helpful and hospitable.

Jan 2022The place has very few cottages available, and as a result is less crowded and peaceful. This isn't a regular resort, more like a meditative retreat. Excellent hospitality and very neatly maintained rooms. The property seems to have been designed with a lot of thoughts, attention and care. It's a very peaceful and relaxing experience, one could never get tired of. The beach is very accessible and the sunset view is 10/10 by the pool. There is no TV in the rooms, perhaps with the intent that people who stay get a chance to truly immerse in the surroundings and relax. A trip to Bekal/Neeleshwar isn't complete without experiencing this luxurious stay.

Sep 2019The food at the resort was excellent, The location the facilities and the amenities were amazing. The bathroom and Cleanliness was really superb. the staff was courteous and extremely helpful
The bathrooms especially the tubs did not have hot water. One guy from the staff was impatient and did not get a good treatment from him. We were paying for the food and still he was treating us like we came for charity.

Mosquitoes. We upgraded at the hotel for an open bathroom as it looked good in the pics but it was v difficult to access the washroom after evening due to loads of mosquitoes. My 5 month old had at least 10 mosquito bites after spending an hour exploring the property in the evening. Bathtub was v huge and looked good. But hot water dint even fill 10% of the tub and management couldn't do anything for us during our stay even after complaining.
One of the best decisions to come and stay. Would love to come some other day and stay for more days

Major drawback no fridge and coffee kettle in the room. Quality of food is average prepared with coconut oil and cashew nut. Rooms are not maintained well ceiling fan and geyser were not working. Parking place is haphazard not planned.

Breakfast spread could have been better, it was very predictable and there was no wow factor there. Could have been more exciting

Oct 2022Cottages are nicely spread out giving privacy and sense of security. Large rooms and open air bathroom was lovely. Staff provides service with a smile and met our special food requests also. Breakfast items are as per request and the freshly made dosa, pancakes, omlette, coorgi coffee in french press was a great way to start the morning - all were tastefully made and presented. Privacy at the beach, pool by the beach were enjoyed to savour the sea exposure. Dont miss the cycle ride to the neighbourhood - good physical exercise.
Food while tasty was a bit overpriced - request the resort to relook at the pricing. Perhaps because of the festive holiday, the housekeeping staff was unreachable to attend the A/C in one room that was not effectively cooling. Besides these two issues there is no reason to not visit this place for a leisurely, refreshing, healthful stay that we will cherish for a long time.
