the location of our room was amazing! staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good

the sea grass on the beach but that is everywhere in San Pedro so unavoidable.

The food was fantastic and great value for money. The rooms and balcony were a good size. Bikes available to rent for free. Staff were warm and friendly and created a lovely atmosphere in the bar in the evening, felt like a regular!

This is partly our responsibility, however we had breakfast included but only realised after we had left. It was never mentioned to us on checking in or during our 2 night stay. The only negative, and hence why I put a slightly lower score for value for money.

Room and property was clean.

It is a bit of a walk from the centre of the island. Our bathroom smelt like sewage every time we flushed.

They actually can hold American-size tourists 👍🏼 Free bicycle rentals (the sign to rent the the bikes is hidden). Their pier seemed sturdy which is important especially if you get a massage over the water 😏 Immediate attention to fixing anything that breaks. A courteous hardworking staff working quietly in the early morning to make the grounds look perfect. LeRoi was awesome. Very adept at scheduling our excursions. He actually cares if we had a good time or not. He needs a raise. Tip generously, he more than deserves it!

Upgraded to a King size bed 😉 but it was actually just springs covered by a layer of fabric. At first it was comical because it felt like a trampoline. Boing! But later, it just hurt our backs. Our room was the closest to the beach 😃 but it was right next to the sail boat rental kiosk. Equipment kept banging against the wall. More hooks and shelves are needed in the bathroom. The sargassum!!! Noooo...of course this is not the fault of the hotel. Thankfully, they worked everyday on removal of the sargassum. Hopefully, they will be able to install drifting buoys one day to keep the sargassum from reaching the beach.

- extra services (like massage and snorkeling) were too expensive - room was noisy - San Pedro is packed with loud and spending Americans, so everything is super touristy and expensive (this is off course something that I can't blame on the hotel, but it does effect the whole experience)

My stay was 17 days the staff was great. Housekeeping every other day due to Covid was great. The food at the rest was good. Location was convenient and the hotel was generally quiet.

The hotel suffers from an incredible amount of sea grass which makes the beach unusable even in small amounts. You can always swim off the dock. The second week I was there the prevailing winds picked up and the sea grass accumulated in enormous amounts so much it required a backhoe and a dump truck to clear it. So you are listening to heavy machinery all day. The sea grass has a putrid ofer and made dining in the open air restaurant , sitting on the beach or balcony of your room impossible! An annoyance with the restaurant was they were out of fish 50% of the time! This is an island fro goodness sake! I like to enjoy fresh fish when I travel.,,shrimp was always available but I can get that any time. There were days they were out of white wine or red wine or wine in general! Want eggs Benedict… check and see if they have English muffins first! Poor restaurant management. I had no problem with “outages” at other restaurants.

I love that the property had its own beach front and some hammocks that faced the beach so you can watch the sunrise/sunset. I love the bar and restaurant that was open early and late. The food was amazing and the drinks were just as amazing. Also they have a spa area, two pools at everything at the hotel.

could hear people upstairs walking and moving all night. could hear people talking in next room. The coffee at restaurant was not very good. I am one who likes good coffee in the morning.

Good and spacious room, comfortable bed, very clean. Having its own pier with a dive shop was very convenient to easily arrange diving (with daily pick up and drop off by boat). Good breakfast and friendly staff. The two swimming pools were a plus. I had a deluxe ocean view room few steps away from the sea, that was really nice!

Wi-Fi is terrible throughout the hotel and nearly impossible to connect from the room. Also it was not WPA protected. Apparently they have a separate Wi-Fi network with better slightly speed and WPA protected but it’s for the hotel staff. Hotel should definitely improve this. The hotel advertised to have some free bikes available and they even included this info on their welcome message, however when I arrived they informed me that due to not use, all bikes got rusty and they didn’t have bikes any longer. The hotel should update this information on booking.com because is located at 1.7 km (1 mile) from the centre, a good walk on the beach but a bike would make things much easier. The hotel had some catamarans for rent/sailing lessons right on the beach, I repeatedly tried to get hold to the one guy who was running this service but he was NEVER available on the beach, the very last day before departure he passed by near my room (he was informed about my request for sailing by the kind staff of the dive shop), he agreed to meet the following morning at an exact time (8:30) and he simply didn’t show up! Super unprofessional service which badly reflects on the services offered by the hotel. Such unprofessional and lazy staff should not work in a good hotel. Overall the hotel was very nice and enjoyed my stay.

Fantastic beachfront location, only 20 minutes walk from the centre of San Pedro with its bars, dive centres, etc - but far enough to be peaceful and not have lots of passersby. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were good and it was very convenient to have the restaurant/bar on site.

Customer service at the bar/restaurant was a bit odd, and wifi was intermittent in our room.

Excellent staff and food. Location perfect with the golf buggy. Definitely stay again. Scuba and snorkel trips arranged on the hotel pier. Room 4A- best view straight out on the caribbean sea. Amazed to find a beach front hotel for this price after staying 1 night in our original hotel which we didnt like and found Caribbean villas. Looked at 4 hotels and this was perfect.

Nothing. Room is a bit tired but air con is fantastic and when the toilet didnt flush someone came immediately to sort it. Perfect for what we wanted as actually wasnt in the room at all in the day.
