Apr 2021We stayed in a 3 bedroom , 3 bath condo. Great accommodations for our group of six. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen to make meals.
Beach area was ok. Loaded with seaweed most days and didn’t seem very inviting. We spent our days poolside most days.

Jun 2021This place was amazing. Beautiful resort and staff was very attentive. Close enough to town for all the restaurants, which were just a short golf cart ride away.

Aug 2022The resort was new and very nice. Multiple pools, beach with paddle boards and kayaks. Staff was extremely nice. Location was great, north of town but not too far with many restaurants and bars nearby. Room was large and kept clean. Laundry service was available. Swim up bar with food service was great! They booked our excursion to the Blue Hole for us which was really convenient.
The beach area is nice but the sea grass is right up to the beach. They try to keep it back but it is nearly impossible. So swimming in the ocean from the beach isn't really enticing. We did take a kayak out to snorkel on the reef which was great.

Nov 2022The resort was great, staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was good. We had the 3 bedroom apartment it was perfect for our family of 4.
It was anlittlw farther from town, but very close to the Truck stop and closer to Secret Beach. Water pressure wasn't great, but we were on 3rd floor so I get it.

Dec 2022The hotel itself was very nick and spacious.
When we arrived our entire greeting was rushed. We did not receive a tour (other guests did), we did not get an explanation of the amenities (other guests did), and upon entering the room the guy pointed and gave us the keys. I chose this place because I stayed here last year and it was great. This time me, my dadand brother came for a guy's trip the staff did not clean the room correctly. Stains were left on the floors for days. Towels were taken out the room and not replaced, the room we booked was for 6 people but they couldn't seem to keep enough Towels in The room for 3 people. The staff by the pool/bar treated us like we had the plague. We would come and be ignored. When we did order the it would take awhile for them to make our drinks. With one exception there is one black guy (wish i got his name) that works there his service was great. Large groups of black men should probably avoid this hotel.
It was a relaxing comfortable stay for us and our second time here and we would definitely stay here

May 2021The apartment was great, clean, comfortable (but no elevator), with everything you can need. The staff is nice and friendly.
My expectation was to have a big Carebian beach with white sand to swimming right in front of the hotel.
However, no beach at the hotel location, the best beach is 30 min. away driving a golf cart over a bumpy trail. That is Secret Beach, when you arrive there you find white beaches, restaurants serving food on tables on the water, every you dream as a Carebian vacation day. I recommend Blue Bayou, good service, friendly and kind people, and decent food.
Another advantage of San Pedro Island is the proximity to the coral rift, the snorkeling excursion is the best I ever did, and our guide was the best, he knew how to find, manatees, sharks, turtles, stingrays, seahorse...
Worth it
Jul 2021The apartment was gorgeous, the facilities were immaculately maintained, the staff was abundant and all incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool areas were great, the pool bar was a pleasant surprise and the on site restaurants were better than I anticipated.
The cost of golf cart rental was a bit outrageous and there wasn't a proper beach to go swim around in the ocean
Can't wait to return!
May 2021Scenery was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for a trip with our 18 month old who loved exploring the many pools. There's even a few splash pools for kids. Room felt like home away from home. Kitchen had more appliances that I have in my own kitchen! Great to have access to a small grocery store on site and COVID testing was available as room service. Balcony is truly amazing. Staff were warm and friendly. Great communicators and coordinated our airport pickup very well. Even arranged for a pack n play in the room.
Location is pretty good, however you will definitely need to rent a golf cart to get into town. Golf carts are a bit pricey from the resort so definitely shop around. Highly recommend a ride to Secret Beach as the beach in front of the property has lots if seaweed (not their fault).

Apr 2023Resort not very full. Lots of space for relaxing. Never saw an over the water bar .. that we thought was advertised. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Room adequate size.
The privacy in the rooms is not what I expected. The studio rooms are basically an extra bedroom for the multi bedroom units, there is an adjoining door between them, you can see the light through the door on the sides, and at the bottom, the half inch gap and the tile floor on the bottom allows for every conversation to be heard between them. You could hear them making breakfast, having breakfast conversation and cleaning the dishes, which is very loud when they get up early and you do not!!! The air condition, made quite a bit of a humming noise, which was not to our satisfaction, we got used to it, but we shouldn’t of had to. We did not complain however because the air condition worked fine. It was just a humming changing noise. Even though it was aggravating. The seaweed was a problem, although not the hotels fault, we never saw anybody working to clear it like we did other places so we couldn’t sit at the beach and really enjoy the beach we had to go elsewhere.

Dec 2021Phenomenal in every way! The room was a great size and the view was unbeatable. We really enjoyed the full kitchen, comfortable furniture, and large closet space. We loved waking up to an ocean view every day! The pools and hot tubs were clean and well-maintained and the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Every staff member was very kind and helpful.
Everything was perfect. We will stay here again for sure.
