this property and all their staff exceed our expectation, they all went above and beyond to make sure we enjoy each minute of our stay, food served by chef was amazing , head up for the linguine vongole cooked perfectly al dente, very healthy breakfast selection. All waiter and waitress were so friendly and happy to be with the guest. Hotel Manager was an exquisite person (he help us a lot with PCR test location and thanks to him we went by tricycle on a near by hospital) rooms and all facility were so nicely clean and easy to reach , we really loved the 4 days spent there. They allowed a day stay to our family at the beach and pool for a very honest price which included lunch for the kids....WOW WOW WOW

The view from our room was really magical. Room 790. Lovely sweeping views of the sea and sunset.

This resort was definitely not 4 star. More like 3 star. Many of the staff do not speak English well. There was nearly no vegan options at breakfast. No plant milks, no oatmeal or granola, flies all over the fruit and veg, no jams. Just bread and roasted potatoes. Really disappointing as the 20 min walk to the supermarket was a bit dodgy as there are no pavements on a very busy road. Also the supermarket had nearly nothing. At dinner, there is just 1 option: a coconut curry so if you are staying multiple nights, that's your only bet. Then we tried to order room service: margherita pizza with no cheese but some extra veg - it was painful to ask as they do not understand english very well. It took many attempts :(

The staff were all so nice and the service was awesome. Love the beachfront location and the variety of activities you can enjoy without leaving the resort. Also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool.

The staff was amazing! Made every guest feel like a VIP. The pool, gym, spa, restaurants are great too. Amazing view and accessible to a lot of great destinations nearby.

The TVs are not Smart TVs. I understand that cable service wasn't available because of the typhoon they had a few months ago but could've been better if we can watch something on Netflix or YT. Def not a big deal though.

The staff's hospitality is superb. They are friendly and kind to guests. They are also helpful.

1. The food It's quite pricey, yet the taste is bland. This applies to both the buffet and regular orders.  It isn't worthwhile. 2. It's the beach This is not the place for you if you prefer beaches to facilities. It's always low tide, and there's an excessive amount of sea grass.

they didn’t inform that there will be Iron man on the day of our check out and they told us to check out at early as 3am with no given option.

The property itself is beautiful. We love the gardens, the rooms, the pools. The staff were for the most part friendly and accommodating. They even let us borrow a wheelchair for my mom who was having difficulty walking. It was really awesome that they have bikes you can use for free to ride around the area.

Their gym could use more development. It was quite cramped and did not have some equipment that would have made it more “complete”. We were treated extremely well by the staff save for 1 nasty encounter with a swimming pool attendant who rudely shooed one of us away from the swimming pool because he said it wasn’t yet open…am pretty sure he was just making us follow rules but his manner was very rude and insulting. That’s the other thing that could be improved, if you’re an early morning swimmer, you cant swim anywhere in this resort between 5:00am to 8:00am because the pool opens late at 8am. You can’t swim at the beach at this time too because of the very low tide (ankle length water)and the guards won’t let you go further beyond a certain point even if it’s very shallow. May be this is for safety reasons. The point is, you can’t swim anywhere early in the morning in this beach resort , it’s ironic.

It’s kind old, the air condition was dripping inside the room and I felt that time that it was not equivalent to the value of money I paid due to the status of the room.

The place was very clean, i mean literally all the staff were always cleaning and polite too. I also love that they have a lot of activities available. Their pool was superb clean!

The place it's like a small paradise the facilities are clean the pool also. We had wonderful time for two days. Thanks everybody i will the definitely recommend this place

The location is fantastic. 3 bridges connect it to the Cebu mainland and it is right on the ocean. It’s surrounded by other resorts so you can always go to those to eat or get a day pass for the facilities there. The staff are incredibly hospitable and go out of their way to help you. House keeping can be requested any time during the day, which is fantastic.

The floor in my room was rather dirty when I arrived (they were happy to clean it though). Water is scarce in the region so the shower tended to run cold quickly, and the pressure wasn’t the best. The pool area got noisy quite early in the morning, so sleeping in is almost impossible (if that’s your plan). Due to the typhoon (December), the deck was completely destroyed. I do think after 8 months (August), it ought to have been fixed though.

The food was great!!! Love it !! What I love most is their service beyond expectations. I ordered something not on the breakfast menu and they right away made it available for me in an excellent way.

A door to the bathroom was not fixed properly but I am sure if we called their attention they would have come but since we were careful with people coming in the room , we let it go.

The food and drinks was very expensive otherwise great place.

The facilities were incredible, pool, rooms and restaurant of awesome quality.

If you are not a family with kids that’s probably not the best choice for a stay.

The breakfast meals are pricey. the whole experience will be more lovelier if food are priced competitively.

The Costabella is a first class resort located about 30 minutes from Cebu airport. The architecture and design of the resort is really amazing and a tribute to the owners and workers as only months ago it was very badly damage in typhoon Odette. The staff rebuilt the place in just 3 months!! Everywhere the attention to detail can be seen. The resort has two swimming pools plus white sand beach area. The rooms are spacious and well designed. Now for the food. The normal a la carte menu is very good. We tried most dishes off the menu during our say and all menus where very very good. Well presented and tasty and large enough portions for the price. The pricing is reasonable considering the location and the quality. However the buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing I have to say.. one morning there was beef pie! And not a sausage or longganisa to be seen anywhere. But overall the food experience was very good indeed. Note that the resort does allow day trippers and events (mainly weekend) so there can be so extra noise. If you have any issue there the staff and the manager are very approachable and understand and will and did correct any issues.. so a big thank you to the manager. The staff in the resort are all fantastic.. I did read some bad reviews.. but for us.. the staff there were first class. Trip from the airport and for days out can be arranged by the resort and Cebu has taxi called black cabs.. which are premium cars, suv or vans to take to and from your destination. The drivers were all very good and safe so a shout out to them as well. On a last note thanks to the manager once again for a lovely stay. On a final last note.. the resort is very kid friendly.

The beach front was very good and the room that we stayed in was clean.

It seems that the hotel is short-staffed, specially in the restaurant and at the reception. Too many people with few staff. It was difficult to catch the staff´s attention when in need of help and I called the guest service and reception a few times with no response, so you have to go down to the reception to actually receive any help or service.
