This is a great place, beautifully maintained, clean and fantastic staff. We could not find a thing wrong in the entire place, great water pressure, clean bathroom, comfy bed, a real credit to the management and staff. We will definitely be back.

The staff and service were amazing from the receptionist to the driver to the spa personal to the chef to the hospitality staff! Very clean and organised. Great place and awesome views.

It was also a bit far from the airport.

The premises are gorgeous - going out my lovely appartment/villa, I was going down stairs to the pool, and then the beach, picking frangipani flowers on the way... The whole team (including the ladies at the spa) are kind, authentic and professional. Honestly the service is 5-star level.

Puri Wirata was just what we needed after our stays in busy Kuta and Sanur. Quiet and very relaxing. Our room was large, and the bed was comfortable. Ask for #28 for corner room with sea and volcano views via huge glass doors facing north and east. Staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed near daily massages, the pools, and good meals. Try the curries and Vietnamese spring rolls. Large breakfasts with good bread. Total price for room, three meals a day, spa treatments was very reasonable. Less than $100 US a night.

Room (shower and baseboards, for example) could use deep cleaning. Roads in Amed are rough with no sidewalks and limited transportation. No Gojek. Will need to walk, rent a scooter, or mostly stay put, as we did. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant.

No transport available, weather was horrible. Staff was kind and rooms really cosy. There was not much to do in the wet season. Snorkeling was available, but really hard due to weather conditions.

Absence of Grab, overcharging local drivers, not able to walk due to dangerous, wet and small roads. Rain every day.
