When struck at night while coming back from chourasta, it became very difficult to get ride, when requested, homestay member also didnt came forward to help

First of all, its location is good. It is exactly opposite to the Zoo and at 20 minutes walking distance from the Mall. Ropeway and Happy Valley Tea garden is also within walking distance. Secondly, it is really good value for money. If you are traveling in group of four, the family room is the best for your budget. Next, the FOOD 😋😋. The complimentary breakfast was phenomenal. And the lunch and dinner were also very delicious at very reasonable price. Above all, the hospitality was wonderful. It was truly a 'Home Stay' for us. The hosts helped us in every aspect, from the tour planning to buying good tea. Trust me, you can book this Homestay with your eyes closed.

Everything was beyond expectation..the most cordial homestay owner i have ever seen..very big heart..always helpful and smiling..down to earth human being..she will capture ur heart and soul within a moment.. I am ofcourse coming back again...this is going to be my one and only staying destination in darjeeling... Worth every penny..a must go destination for staying if you are travelling to darjeeling..❤️ Love you mona aunty...❤️🥰

Being there was an awesome experience. Hospitality was outstanding and their warm behaviour will compel us to visit their homestay next time we go to Darjeeling. The location of the homestay is mind-blowing, away from the hustle and bustle of the main city. You can see almost the whole city of Darjeeling from the terrace of the homestay. It has it's own restaurant (basically two different restaurants- veg and non-veg). 3-4 tourist spots are located at walkable distance from the homestay.

All staffs behaviour is familiar. Already last year I stayed same property in same room. Room was fully Clean and sanitized.

Gyser was getting too much time for heating. Rest all things are good.

1. The hospitality was unmatched. The hosts treated us as members of their family. 2. The rooms are very well maintained with nice bathrooms having geysers. 3. They provided everything we needed..from warm drinking water to shoe-brush, and all beforehand, before we had asked for. 4. The food they served was awesome, even they customised the meal according to the need of our kid. 5. A little walk away will take you to the lush green Happy Valley Tea Garden. The Mall is a half an hour walk upwards. But shops, ATM counters, local taxi stand all are nearby. 6. Riva is opposite to the police kiosk just below Darjeeling Zoo near Singmari taxi stand. 7. I recommend Riva to everyone who wants to stay away from the crowd of the main city centre and feel the warmth of excellent local hospitality.
