Dec 2021We loved the cottage, it was perfect for our family of 4.
Loved the decor and the flow of the cottage.
The Wifi was good as we had to work for most of our stay at the cottage and we could easily connect.
When we did go for walks between the rain, the cottage was very centrally located between Grotto Beach and Voelklip beach, a pity about the weather as we would have loved spending time at the beach
No working tumble drier, which was a bit of a challenge with it raining the whole time during our stay.

The VIEW!!!!!!!! You can only see the sea at the horizon. DEFENITELY NOT A SEA VIEW APARTMENT. My wife wanted to cry!!!!! Photo's are MISLEADING!!!!
Superb location and beautiful home.
Aug 2022Property is well located and has everything one needs. Open plan kitchen, dinning area and lounge. Ideal for enjoying the open space to watch out onto the ocean and during this stay, were able to see the whales in the bay. The house lends to the enjoyment of the area, garden and surrounds, even in bad weather (had a lot of rain and was rather chilly)

No firewood (and told to purchase it), not informed of rolling blackouts, not enough coffee, no basic condiments (e.g. salt, pepper), few suggestions in welcoming book of where to eat or pick up food.

Jul 2022It was my son’s birthday and we had a perfect stay! This house has got everything you need. Host made everything ready and perfect for us. Kitchen is more than fully equipped. There is dishwasher and LG washer/dryer 2in1. Both bedrooms have aircon. There are 2 heaters and a bunch of emergency lights. All these made our winter stay with load-shedding just nice. Weather was cold but the house was so warm. There is no house between us and the beach. It takes you 5 mins to walk there. Simply 10 out of 10!

May 2022emmaculately clean. Best shower ever. Beats Arabella shower, hands down. complimentary pillow chocs suntanlotion and gel and beach towel-superb touches. Everything and experience was 5star without a doubt.The trail walk and beach Fantastic experience. The extraction of ice, was quite an experience.ice bounces all over onto floor. but was a great convenience. The fridge is topclass the lounge sofa, the eating table and chairs, everything beautifully comfortable.

was only 1tablet for dishwasher.
Potjie is rusty and very sadly, very disappointing as could not make the Mother's day special Seafood potjie as planned. only saw when opened pot and hence had made fire unnecessary. that was a disappointment. but them made the dish in pot on stove. To spot a whale from lounge area would be highly impossible(lol) as was told. no biggie just don't mention that to ppl, as huge bushes does block clear sea view, but that WAS NOT A PROBLEM at all.Could not access the "games" cupboard. no biggie though.
