Perfect Hole base
Where do we start? The house smelled awesome upon arrival. It was very clean and perfect for our group. The pictures do no justice. The space is awesome! I stayed in the upstairs bedroom with the king bed and the daytime views were amazing from that window. I cannot count the number of times we laid in the bed just watching the waves and palm trees. Pretty magical! The house came stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the beach towels and the pool equipment. We also borrowed the beach chairs and watched many sunsets and sunrises right from the beach. It was awesome to see all the land crabs and lizards. Oh and the hermit crabs were so tiny and cute! Snorkeling advice: snorkeling in front of the house is fantastic. You just have to swim over the seaweed. Put your snorkel mask in and just swim straight out until you start seeing the coral colonies. Keep going! You will happen upon an amazing coral section. Be aware! You cannot touch here and you must be a strong swimmer. We also found some pretty amazing conch shells if you dove down and looked at them. They were usually covered in sand but look for the shape and you will be excited to stumble across them. I also recommend snorkeling East End Beach and Cemetery Reef beach. Both of these spots were our favorite. Food: don’t over buy food! There is a cute grocery store called Chisholms right down the road. We overbought on food and most of it was left behind. Eating out at the various restaurants is where it was at. We ate at Over the Edge, Kaibo Beach bar, Rum Point including the bbq on Monday night, the beach bar the next day, and the enclosed restaurant. We also ate at South Coast Bar and grill and Eagle Rays Bar and grill. Everything was amazing. The best conch fritters were Rum Point or Over the Edge. I prefer Panko crust vs tempura. They are different everywhere though. We also ventured to Hell and meet Mac Doom. He was awesome! We also hit up the Botanical gardens. This was surprising really good if you like that sort of adventure. Our trip was made special bc of the Pink Beach house. The home had everything! Oh and we used the cooler multiple times for our days trips. We would 100% come back to this house with no question. It was perfect for us!

We really enjoyed our time at the Pink Beach House. This was our 2nd visit to Grand Cayman - our first being in 2019 where we stayed on Seven Mile Beach. For this trip we wanted to explore a different part of the island (Rum Point) so this location was perfect. The house was very well appointed, the pool was a wonderful amenity that we enjoyed multiple times a day, every day we were there. The fairly private beach was steps from the back of the house and beautiful (although fairly unusable - I’ll explain below.) There were a lot of pool floats and snorkel gear for the kids to use. The kitchen had everything you’d want prepare meals for the family. The AC was very nice and substantial (as it was quite hot when we visited.) There was cable tv and decent wifi (signal was a bit weak throughout the house, but that’s fine as we spent most of our time exploring the island.) The rooms were comfortable and everything in the house was in working order. The 2 major points of disappointment for our trip had nothing to do with the house. Rum Point was basically still closed due to the pandemic and under renovation, so with the exception of the Kaibo Beach Club Restaurant (which is great) there was not a lot to do or see on this side of the island - which meant a lot of driving to areas closer to Georgetown and Seven Mile beach for activities - which can be about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic / weather. Secondly, the beach behind the house was fairly unusable as there is a massive infestation (Across the Caribbean) of Sargassum Seaweed in the water which made snorkeling a challenge and lead to massive piles of fairly smelly seaweed lining the beach in every direction. Karen was wonderful and very communicative and even offered to send crews (which she did) to the beach to try to clean some of the seaweed out. (It’s just pervasive and kind of impossible to avoid at this point.) Overall though, the house was worth the price, Karen was exceptionally informative and communicative throughout the booking process and during our stay, and we highly recommend this house if you want a comfortable base camp for your family in a very safe and quiet part of the island. We highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was great! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Karen was great and very responsive to all questions that I had. The only drawback to the house was that due to the large amount of seaweed, the swimming in front of the house was not great. However, my kids loved the kayaks and the pool was perfect. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic Vacation Spot
We loved the location of the house. The area was quiet, and we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. We drove to Rum Point several times for wave running, and we had dinner at the Lighthouse and Kaibo Upstairs. Both dinners were excellent, and they were fairly close to the house. This was one of my favorite vacations, and the house's beds were so comfortable that I felt really rested by the end of the week!

Weird loved staying in as well appointed well-maintained and very clean property the deck and pool were such a nice bonus and it was fun being on that side of the island. We loved experiencing new restaurants and places to go. The downside waa the beach itself Which was almost on walkable and certainly not very clean at all. The front of the house itself was kept tidy but we weren’t able to walk the beaches as we normally do when we’re on an island. However our overall stay was magnificent and we loved our time at the pink beach house

Beautiful Beach House filled with amenities!
We had a wonderful week at The Pink House! It is a beautiful, well decorated, spacious house with every amenity you can possibly want or need in a vacation rental. The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved being able to use the kayaks and snorkel gear. The beach towels and sun screen were such a nice touch! The beds we so comfortable too. We loved having Rum Point so close by and enjoyed delicious dinners at Kaibo Bar & Grill and Tukka. We had heard that the Northside of the island can be a bit windy and we did in fact experience that for several days, with winds blowing at 20-25 mph all day. As such we were not able to sit out by the pool or beach but used it as an opportunity to explore other areas of the island, including Seven Mile Beach and downtown Georgetown where the winds were noticeably calmer. We rented a jeep for the week and it was nice to have transportation at our fingertips because we like to stay active and this area of the island is somewhat quiet. Our favorite restaurant by far was the Sunshine Grill on Seven Mile Beach. Best fish tacos ever in a casual environment! The only thing to point out is that swimming at the beach in front of the house is a bit challenging given that it is very shallow and mostly covered by sea kelp. You do need to venture rather far out to get to an area deep enough to swim, however, it is absolutely worth it!! The reefs are incredible for snorkeling or just enjoying the gorgeous water from the kayak. We hope to kayak from the house to Rum Point during our next visit. Thank you so much for your wonderful house! We would absolutely stay here again!
