Aug 2022What an amazing villa! We had a great vacation at Coco Kai. The Villa is very large with plenty of room for a big group. Each bedroom having its own connected bathroom was a huge bonus. The kids really enjoyed the arcade machines in the downstairs living room. Having two living rooms was great. The kids took over the downstairs and the adults stayed upstairs. The house is very well taken care of and clean. The Wifi was super-fast. The private beach has perfect sand with a nice dock. Snorkeling behind the house was incredible we saw lots of fish, stingrays, and even a puffer fish. There are lobsters living under the dock! The kids did not want to leave the house and only wanted to snorkel all day. We had some great sunset BBQs on the deck and the heated pool was very refreshing. Jason was easy to deal with and answered all of our questions. It was my husband's birthday and the bottle of champagne he sent over was really nice. We enjoyed some of the local food at the Caboose restaurant just down the road. Kaibo and Tukka were also fantastic. We will definitely be coming back next year as this was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at.

Oct 2019We stayed at Coco Kai for 10 days. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house had everything we needed. We loved having the pool. The snorkeling was amazing once you get past the reef which was tricky. We would definitely stay here again

Jul 2020We enjoyed our staycation here at Cocokai. The house is well kept, clean and spacious. Lots of bedrooms, and bathrooms! That's a plus when you have a larger group. The backyard has a pool and the beach is just steps away. We spent a lot of time using the kayaks, swimming and snorkeling. Highly recommend this home. We will be back!

Dec 2019We brought our children and grandchildren to the Cayman Islands for Thanksgiving. There were 14 of us. This home was everything we could ask for. Lots of room for everyone. Loved the pool, private beach and wharf. Would definitely recommend it !

Nov 2022Very nice property with a great layout. Loved everything about it. The pool was nice for cooling off, the private beach was so nice and the protective reef really made it nice for the kayaks. Plenty of room for our group and great views. We will certainly be back!

Sep 2022Very beautiful home, clean and well equipped. The beach is rocky here, but great for snorkeling and using the provided kayaks. Just a little further is Starfish Beach which is arguably the most beautiful beach here.

Oct 2019Two adult couples spent 8 days on the property. The house was great. Well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. Six bedrooms are great for large parties. It would be great if there was another king size bed, just one on the property. The beds were very comfortable. The photo of the beach on this property on VRBO is deceiving, not a sandy beach, lots of rock. We were expecting a sandy beach to accommodate swimming in the ocean. Not a deal breaker but the photos are deceiving. OVERALL A GREAT VACATION. We would recommend this property for a great stay on the quiet side ion the island.

The property manager and owner did try to get it fixed but could not before we departed--they were responsive. Would have been good if all units had of been tested and turned on before our arrival as we booked weeks in advance. Other than that, property suited our needs and was comfortable. Thanks Jason.

Nov 2022This spacious home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving vacation. Being on the quieter north side and right on the beach with almost everything we needed included made for a great stay. We visited the caves, Botanical Park and Parrot Sanctuary - all within a short drive from the house. Jason includes many extras- water sports equipment, video games, 2 separate living areas ( adults didn’t have to watch cartoons!), games, and a very well stocked kitchen! Definitely 5 stars ( probably the first 5 star review I’ve written)

Nov 2019This property is as amazing as it looks! A group of us were in Cayman for business and we extended our personal stay on the island in Coco Kai. The property was easy to find. We loaded up on food/drinks in Savanah but the store just up the street has any items you would need that perhaps you forgot. Also, the East end has anything you would need if you wanted to take a quick drive. Make sure you purchase coffee! The property manager unfortunately took what was left by the previous guests. The kitchen has tons of spices and every pan or kitchen utensil and appliance you could ever need. We loved the outside grill! The view was wonderful, the pool was great to have when the ocean didn't want to cooperate due to high waves. The kayaks did get use. Snorkeling off the dock was wonderful, lots of fish and a turtle spotting at one time. Don't panic about bringing sunblock, there were bottles left by other guests we left 3 travel sized bottles of our own. If more is needed you can easily buy it but it was nice not having to worry about it on a flight where we didn't check bags. The only thing we didn't like on our stay was that the property manager showed up unannounced to retrieve something from the garage and to inform us that someone would be coming by to fix one of the outdoor showers. They did show up at the end of our dinner time and had to shut off the water. We just cleared the house and went to the dock. We were disappointed that we were not given the heads up upon checking into the property as the property manager was still there. This by no means put a damper on our stay. If you book Coco Kai you will not be disappointed! There were 6 of us on this trip and we couldn't find the guest book sadly; everyone wanted to leave their own little note but we are just pooling our review here instead.

Jul 2019This house was amazing. It is just as perfect as the pictures and I agree with another review comment, the best snorkeling is in your own front yard. We went all over the island to snorkel and were disappointed with the other locations compared to what we saw at the house.
The house is very spacious and no one felt crowded or cramped for space. The pool was great for my 5 year old who doesn't enjoy the ocean for long periods of time.
Rum point is literally 8 min away and is a must see, but the gem for me was Spotts beach which is just a quick 20 min drive down the road. We went 2 times and saw sea turtles and stingrays both times.
Jason was awesome helping us get this booked and then the property manager, Karen, was great as well. She stopped by for a quick check in our first day there to make sure we had everything we needed.
I am already planning our next family vacation for next summer and while I want to check out a different island, I dont think we will. The location and house are that great!

Oct 2019This house met all our needs. We were 6 couples and it was great. We did end up with a major leak into one of the bedrooms and property manager did her best to take care of it, however I think there needs to be a major fix for this to not happen again. The couple staying in that particular room just moved the furniture around so it didn't leak on their bed and the couple above them didn't use their shower the whole time, just used one of the others. Overall no complaints though. We were there in the non-peak season so a lot of restaurants were closed but the store just a few houses down from us was a blessing as we frequented it daily. Snorkeling off the back pier was good if water wasn't rough but really couldn't ask for a better place to stay for our group.

Mar 2020There were eleven in our visiting party, but with 6 bedrooms,
6 1/2 baths, there’s plenty of room for all. The sandy beach and pier were enjoyed daily. Great snorkelling, swimming and kayaking. Fish and lobster right in front of the villa. The heated pool was a great gathering spot, and the table and chairs on the patio are an added comfort. Throw in a new barbecue and plenty of loungers for all, and you have a spot for every preference.
The house is fully equipped with whatever you will need for a great visit. All areas of the house is air conditioned. Laundry room on the main floor is handy, and the kitchen fully equipped.
Chisholm's grocery store is a 2 minute walk and is well stocked for whatever you might need.
Jason and his site manager Karen, were very responsive to the few occasions that they were called on, and are very accommodating. We appreciated the courtesy they extended.
In fact, Jason was gracious enough to offer an extended stay, If we were unable to leave because of the corona virus, free of charge. We needed one extra day because of cancelled flights. Thanks again for that Jason.

Jul 2022The house is fantastic. The bedding, towels and similar products are easily hotel quality. The space and amenities are great. The kitchen is very useable and has some of the best equipment of any VrBO house that I’ve stayed at anywhere.
Walking on to the beach was a real treat. The pool was smaller than it looked in the pics but it did the job as a plunge and cool off spot. The kayaks and snorkel equipment was fantastic and real bonus. We saw rays and a ton of fish right off the doc.
Driving north to Starfish point and run point was easy and our favorite area. Getting the Georgetown, the big grocery store at Savannah and the southern area took longer than maybe it should - but single road and a good chance of getting stuck behind a slow moving truck made that a little inevitable.
Spott beach to snorkel with turtles was a treat on our last day. We also went out with Captain Jerry’s Watersports to go fishing and another trip to go to Stingray City and other snorkel spots. Strongly recommend him. His hospitality, knowledge and the boat were all first rate. Dwayne was a great help to him and wonderful with our kids.
All in all, the home was great. All good sized rooms and all with their own bathrooms. The kitchen was great and the BBQ stocked with charcoal on request. The management was great and accessible.
Love this house, love this island. For the first time ever we think we may well ‘be back’ for a revisit. It’s a special place.

Sep 2019Our stay here at Cocokai Villa was wonderful. The location is great, if your trying to get away from the bustle of Georgetown.
It's a beautiful drive to the Northside. Great resturants and grocery stores along the way. There's a little store walking distance called chisolm market that offers alcohol, bonus!
The manager and owner Jason was very nice, informative and available if we had any questions.
The house had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were all very nicely done with super comfortable beds. The home is well kept and clean. The beach and pool are steps away. Some of the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets were here in the backyard. There were also kayaks for our guest which we used a lot. The best snorkeling we did, was in the backyard. We barely left the house, it was just so relaxing and the views are just amazing. We had a wonderful time, highly recommend this home. We can't wait to come back!

Feb 2020Our group of 11 from Grandparents to a five year old had a wonderful time at this property. One of the cleanest places we have stayed. The beds and sheets were very comfy and plenty of room in the house to spread out. The five year old was in the pool every possible time she could be and the young couples enjoyed taking the kayaks out each day. We ordered our groceries from Hurleys and it was ready for pick up on our way from the airport. You are definitely a drive from Seven Mile Beach area but we totally enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely come back again if ever in Grand Cayman.

Oct 2019My six sisters and mother recently enjoyed a week stay at this property. The house is very spacious, comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed our own private beach with umbrellas and our private pool. The views are amazing!

Feb 2020Lovely house as advertised. Older folks and youngsters who chose to stay spent most of our time in and around the house, pool, ocean, and tv. Dining out was a treat and easily accessed.
Jerk chicken stand 50 feet from house for example. Over the edge restaurant about 8 miles from the house, left my wallet there by mistake , owner found it ,kept it safe and returned it to me with all the contents untouched. I was impresses it was stuffed with cash. The owner Jason was promp with any questions or concerns. Property supervisor and grounds were courteous and friendly. Will definitely recommend the property.

Nov 2021Highly recommend! House was everything we expected. It was Very clean and had all the necessities. We really enjoyed the patio overlooking the ocean , and our grandchildren loved the pool and playing on the beach. The owner was very responsive and kept the property clean.
