Apr 2022View of fuji and proximity to attractions was good.
The area around was a bit of a junk yard. The porch was in disrepair and needed boards replaced, paint, etc... The requirement to clean all the dishes at the end of the stay? For $350 plus per night...that should be on the hotel. Out of their control...but the worst part...the obnoxious hotel with enormous white lighted letters destroyed the beautiful night sky, star viewing and view of Fuji at night...truly a shame on that part. Other reviews talked about the darkness and night sky...must have been before that hotel as there is no way to enjoy the stars due to the light intrusion...

Excellent view of Mount Fuji and lovely backyard
Mar 2023The unit is unexpectedly clean and new, the fantastic mount fuji view right at the backyard is so breath taking. We use the free bike to buy stuff for own shabu shabu in the house, all amenities are well equipped, we even do our own american breakfast in next morning. Owner also help picking and sending us to train station. Will definitely stay here again if come to kawaguchiko lake.
Nothing, or maybe it would be even better if washing is available.

Nov 2022The house was spacious, convenient, we can see the Mt Fuji from the window and garden. the staff was kind. Theres no other word to describe how happy we were while stayed there. We came by train and the staff pick us up from station to the villa. He also offered to drove us to the tourist location. Overall the service was superb and the stay was wonderful.

only one toilet and it’s located at downstairs while sleeping room is at upper floor, so you must walk down from stairs to the toilet at night. the worse part is only living room and sleeping room has the heater, the toilet and staircase area has no heater, the floor is so damn cold during winter, it is so torturing to step on cold flooring during midnight to go to the toilet.
besides the towel is too small and thin, the space is quite small even for 4 pax.
The owner is helpful, just that they don’t speak English at all so need to use google translate

Mar 2023A very nice, comfortable and peaceful villa, the Mt. Fuji view from the villa is fascinating. We love it and enjoyed our stay very much. The owner can't speak much English but all the information needed has been translated in English, so there's not much problem.
