Villa Esprit: 3 BR / 2 BA Haus in Grand Cayman, Schlafen 6

We stayed at Villa Esprit with a group of 6 (grandparents, parents, and adult children). We loved the location (on the quieter North Side of the island) and the design/cleanliness of the property. It had everything we could ask for — modern finishes, high end appliances and barbecue, and a gorgeous pool (small, but the perfect size for cooling off)! The view was breathtaking and we loved watching sunrises/sunsets from the deck. We will be back :)

We loved our stay at Villa Esprit. It was perfectly located for us, away from the busy touristy areas, and halfway between the amazing beach at Rum Point and diving at the East End. The house is well-appointed and beautiful, inside and out. We'll definitely come back!

We loved every single thing about this home, it was a dream vacation! It is exactly like the pictures but better, if that’s possible. It was hard to believe it could be that great, and we expected to find flaws. But, it truly is that great, and we found no flaws. Logistics/location- It is easy to get to, and we loved this side of the island. It was very safe and private and we felt like we had the island to ourselves there. From the airport it took us maybe 30 min to get our rental car and 30-40 min of easy driving to get to the house. There is a grocery store, Chisholm’s, less than 5 min to the west. It is open on Sundays now as well. We also went to Fosters and a liquor store about 10-15 min east. But I will skip that when we come back bc Chisholm’s has everything we needed. Over the edge restaurant is 5 min or less east and has great food and views, and rum point is maybe 15 min west and we went for dinner one night and to red sail for a great snorkeling catamaran to stingray city. House-The home is beautifully decorated and coordinated throughout every room of the home, with no detail overlooked, in beautiful beach and sea colors and themes. From the second we arrived we felt immediately relaxed and left rejuvenated. Inside- The home is stocked with every amenity and luxury we could have wanted and then some. There is a starter supply of dry goods, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and even laundry detergent. The kitchen was spectacular and had every dish or tool you could want, a blender, cooler, beer tubs, and plenty of both nice dishes and lovey beach dishes to take outside. There is a great LG laundry pair and we used it multiple times per day to dry suits and towels. There are as many towels as you could want and the beach towels are big and fluffy, and fantastic to wrap up in and watch the sunrise or set. You can see the most amazing ocean views from almost every room. Outside- there were many nice chaise lounges and a dining set outside. The pool was the perfect size for us and overlooks the ocean. There is also an incredibly nice half bath outside and pool rafts, beach supplies, snorkels, adjustable fins. This was all a great surprise. Finally, I asked cayman villas and Mitzie several questions before and during our visit, from what company to book specific tours through to grocery, to recycling areas. Responses were always friendly and speedy and helped ensure we had a spectacular vacation. Thanks!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Villa Esprit. The house was perfectly appointed and fully stocked with anything and everything we could possibly need. The private pool and beach is a huge perk as we could cook dinner/have a glass of wine inside while watching our kids swim and run down to the beach (something we wouldn’t be able to at a resort on seven mile). I highly recommend this house and hope to come back again soon.

The managing staff was kind, helpful and quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay. The location worked well for seeing the many sights of the island. The "backyard" snorkeling and kayaks were fantastic!Our only negative was the onset of sargassum seaweed which overtook the beautiful clear water and beach halfway through our stay. It would have been nice to have a service for beach cleanup, but I'm not sure that is even possible.

Villa Esprit is a beautiful modern home on the North Side that's right on the water. Nice pool and chairs. Nice well stocked kitchen. Lots of beach and pool gear (kayaks, rafts, etc.). Some sandy beach, but it is mostly rocky/seagrass in the waters just off the beach. They are good about cleaning the beach every few days. My only wish would have been for a slightly larger bed in the master.
