May 2023The Nobles' vacation home is unlike anything we've ever been to! We are so grateful to have stayed there while it was still snowing as the property is beautiful in the wintertime. Perfect location with quick access to Big Sky Resort and Town Center. Ample space for lots of people to enjoy spending time together and being able to rest in their own spaces. The barn was an awesome location for family and friends to get together!! We LOVED playing games and enjoying dinners in there.

Mar 2023Our family could not have been happier with our stay at Happy Trails! Excellent communication with the owner and local property manager, and every amenity you could imagine including infant pack and play and booster seat for the little ones. The house actually exceeds expectations with its comfort and views, and we all had as much fun at night in the party barn as we did during the day skiing and playing in the snow! Fabulous kitchen to make big family meals and since we were there during Winter Storm Olive we truly appreciated the many fireplaces and heated floors! We plan to return to Happy Trails one year for a summer vacation!

Feb 2023I have been organizing an annual ski trip with a group of friends for 18 years. We have traveled all over the western US and Canada and this year we finally made it to Big Sky, MT. We all wish we had made this stop earlier in our history. The property is amazing. All of the bedrooms are large, quiet, private, well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals for a large group or fix a snack for one. The layout of the property is awesome with the center piece being the barn party room/art gallery. In the party barn we had a movie night and a game night where we actually arranged a round-robin tournament of shuffle-puck, ping-pong and billiards. The artwork in the barn is stunning. The property itself is stunning with 22 pristine wooded acres teeming with wildlife. There is plenty of parking. Big Sky offered great skiing, but Happy Trails Lodge completed the Trip of a Lifetime by offering great accommodations amidst real Montana setting.
We will return to this place with our ski group as well as my family in the near future.

Jan 2023The property was excellent and beautiful. Loved the buffalo! (you'll see). The home was clean and lives up to the pics and description. Kitchen fully stocked. Tons of wood for fireplace. Everything you need. The owner is a great guy who wants you to have a great time. He met us at check in, tapped a keg and had champagne because we checked in on New Years eve.

- very close to ski resort 3 miles. Great location. We attempted to use Ski butler. For 5 days (no skip day) $3150 for my 4 members of my family. Crazy! We went to EAST slope outdoors in Big Sky- $750 for 4 people, premium skis/boots with a skip day. They were great
-Local Mexican restaurant- Don't know the name.. Surprisingly good
- Elk 30 yards down from the driveway entrance each day
-don't buy condiments and spices. He leaves them in the kitchen

Jan 2023Happy Trails is wonderful! We had an amazing time. The space is perfect. Everyone could have privacy, but also all could dine together and party in the barn. The barn is exquisite with art by the owners. Also, it is super fun with tons of games. The owners greeted us on arrival to give a tour and are so gracious and kind. We cannot wait to go back!

Oct 2022We rented this property for a reunion with friends. The home blew any expectations we had out of the water. This is by far the best home we’ve ever rented. We already miss our mornings on the balcony, evenings at the fire pit, and afternoons having cocktails in the party barn. If you have a chance to rent this property: DO IT! You will not regret it. We hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you to Kevin and the team for all the thoughtful touches to this home. We can’t recommend it enough!

We loved that everyone could float around from barn to fire pit to main house or just explore on a trail around the property. We are already talking about another reunion trip!

Oct 2022From the moment, we arrived, we fell in love with this beautiful home. We were graciously welcomed with champagne and a tour of the gorgeous property. The Barn is gorgeous and beautifully made into a bar and art gallery, with 4 bedrooms. The gallery is filled with art made by the owners. The house was immaculate. The setting was so serene and peaceful. We will definitely be back again.

Aug 2022The property has spectacular views, is perfect for multi family or family reunion gatherings. It is furnished beautifully. Evening campfires followed by games in the party barn (the artwork is amazing!) were the perfect ending to each day. The location is just outside Big Sky Center. Kevin and Kimbie are wonderful hosts and highly recommend the property.

The owner is a professional photographer and the Party Barn is actually a gallery with his works (and others) on the walls.
If I ever come back to Big Sky with a large group, I will book this property again.

Kevin and Kimbie were great hosts, and Amber (property manager) was responsive and available to answer our questions. The western house decor is awesome, we loved the stray saddles and cowboy hats everywhere. Kevin and Kimbie's artwork also hangs all over the main house and party barn, and is awesome to look at it. We had an amazing stay and would 10/10 recommend to anyone. We hope to be back next year!

The owners were very communicative with us leading up to our stay and when I communicated with the property manager during the stay she responded right away. All three of us couples have rented many homes and this home by far exceeded our expectations. We hope to come back again for a longer time, esp to explore the snowshoeing and XC skiing that is right out the front door....Summer time would be amazing too! Jan 2022We recently rented Kevin and Kimbie’s beautiful home and guest house and it was an incredible experience! The layout works great for a large group - we divided family between the main house and guest house and had rooms to spare. The party barn is beautiful - the kids loved playing pool, shuffle board and we all enjoyed the original art work! Kevin (the owner) went above and beyond to accommodate our group - greeting us to orient us to the house, helping us haul our luggage and groceries when we had car issues and being on point for any minor issues/questions that arose throughout our stay. The entire property is equipped with a Sonos system and the party barn had local kegs on tap. Can’t say enough about this property - hoping we can come back again soon!
