Rock&Wood Cozy House

We loved the place.It was a great escape from the hustle of the city.The area is beautiful and peaceful with a nice coffee shop nearby .The staff is very pleasant and the room is very homelike with lots of small features which I appreciated .I’d recommend you to stay there ;)

Rooms are on the smaller side.

The room and shared areas were clean and comfortable. The host, Sally, was welcoming and present, ready to help answer any questions or give recommendations of places to visit in the area. The breakfast was healthy, tasty and plentiful, including coffee. Fruits, other snacks and water were offered throughout the day.

Sally and her team made us like feeling at home. They organized everything for us we asked for and there was always a cup of coffee, fresh fruits and self baked cookies waiting for us. The Westlake is really beautiful especially on this side of the lake and we walked up with hearing nothing but birds singing outside. For the three of us this was a very cozy place!

Rock&Wood Cozy House is one of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed. Sally and the staff do an amazing job of catering to your every need, always making themselves available and go above and beyond in every way. The place is extremely well kept, clean, and very inviting. The location is excellent for exploring West Lake and the surrounding temples and pagodas. There are restaurants nearby for dining as well. The breakfast is extraordinary and they will provide more if you ask. There is fruit, tea, and other snacks available at no charge. Overall it is an amazing guesthouse and somewhere I'll definitely return.
