Holiday Home in Papamoa

The location was great, easy access with electronic door code, which worked well. It was a pleasant setting.

The comfort of the beds was the biggest down fall. The queen sized bed was extremely firm, I did not sleep well the first night. The bunk bed mattresses were very firm, although my easy going daughter didn't mind. The most comfortable bed was the single bed which I slept in on the Saturday night. Other than the disappointing factor of the beds everything else was okay.

The location was great, close to shops. Air con in the 2 bedrooms and lounge was nice too. The place was very clean. We were grateful to have somewhere to sleep that night, we arrived late so didnt really get to enjoy the full experience but what we did was good. My daughter enjoyed a well deserved soak in the bath.

Having a washing machine would have been really nice, i did see a sign saying where the nearest laundromat was but we just didnt have the time to go anywhere. Maybe have a rug in the lounge just to add extra comfort.

The house was very clean 👌 and met our needs for our short stay as we were visiting family and just relaxing. Location was excellent short drive to cafe's and restaurants. We loved peace even though the owner was living behind us. For us the likes out did the dislikes it was very satisfactory for our needs.

We were instructed to place all used linen in the bath tub so placed our used towels and sheets pillow cases and tea towels in the bath tub as instructed. Towels and teas towels should have basket but bedding that's wear I stop on house cleaning. The shower pressure is ok as long as no one else uses hot water. Maybe leave more towels out for us as we stayed 2 day's no instructions were left for extra towels. The shower was a bit hard to operate and the shower head was not the greatest. We had just come from our stay at pacific palms resort with our family of 5 adults and one child but myself and my wife needed to stay longer and found this accommodation.

The fact there were no keys to worry about as the door was coded. Our code was emailed prior to arrival. This was super convenient and added to the security of the property and your belongings. Very efficient. The heat pump warmed the entire house, even though you had additional heaters in each room if needed. House had great security, double windows also kept the warmth in which was inviting for early morning. Large lounge with great entertainment area or just to chill, which we did and loved it. Preloved classic story books which kept the kids amused. Kitchen amenities and area was lovely, even the homely plants add a touch. We would love to return and also utilise the large outdoor decking area in warmer months. Clean bathrooms and toilets, A family oriented space that I am sure was preloved as such and continues to welcome in more families. Lovely home away from home and super close to a great plaza, shops, eateries and beaches. Loved our stay, we would love to be welcomed back in the future to explore much of Papamoa and enjoy the comforts of this home.

We only had 1 towel per person for a 5 night stay. The weather was very hot and humid so we needed extra. However when I asked the owner they did supply more

Cold on arrival, lots of signs of rules and locked doors, minimally furnished, not homely. Expected 2 bedrooms. Kettle not functional.

A washing machine and drier would've been helpful.
