Feb 2019Very nice home, appreciated all the small details right down to coffee pods in kitchen. Close to golf, restaurants, entertainment district and grocery stores . Justin was great to deal with. Will definitely be back.

Mar 2019This location was only a 20 minute drive for us to see the Royals play at Surprise Stadium. Close to Phoenix for sight seeing and a quick trip to Tucson to visit relatives. The house worked out perfectly for us. Everyone had their own bedroom. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the sun and having a drink. The owners had the house nicely stocked. I would recommend this property and if we come again I hope it is warmer so we can swim.

Mar 2021This is a nice home in a quiet neighborhood. We spent the week golfing courses on the west side of Phoenix. It’s a great location for what we did. The only reason I didn’t give a five star overall rating is because of a couple of the beds. They’re overdue for an upgrade.

Mar 2019This house was perfect for our family. The location enabled trips to the Grand Canyon, Sloan Field, Tucson, and Tempe. We did not have to travel far for groceries and other necessities. Communication with the management was excellent! We had a great week!

Oct 2019The pool was dirty when we arrived and there was no way for us to clean it. The pool has an in-floor cleaning system instead of a robot vacuum that creeps around the bottom. In-floor pool cleaning systems still need to be vacuumed, especially after a storm. A hose and attachment for that should be at the house.
Even if there was a vacuum hose it would not have helped. The pool filter needed new cartridges and had almost no suction. It took several calls and texts to get the pool cleaned. The pool cleaning system should have been in working order. There is no excuse for neglecting the required maintenance to that system.
We had to buy a lawn sprinkler at Home Depot for the kids to play in.
There is a leak under the kitchen sink. The flange the disposal attaches to is loose.
There are pigeon nests under the solar panels and lots of poop and feathers on the sidewalk between the patio and the front gate.
I received two butt dials from one of the property managers a little after midnight Oct 6.
The VRBO listing says parties are ok but an email after we booked said parties are not allowed.

management got a repair man out quickly and thought it was fixed it was not and all of our frozen goods thawed out and I had a mess to clean up. They offered to replace it but by that point our stay was nearly over. Also, there was a bunch of food in the refrigerator and freezer when we arrived. That really should have been thrown out especially due to COVID. The light in the pantry was out along with the pool light. We were told they would fix them after our stay. Well, that does us no good! The hot water was terrible and you’d have to run it quite a while before it would get hot. We were told it’s because of the solar panel on the roof. The toilet in the master bathroom ran all the time and we’d have to take the tank cover off sometimes to stop it and wiggle the handle a lot. It keep family members up at night because you could hear the water running in the bathroom next to the lower level bedroom. The lower level bedroom bed is extremely low and was difficult for our elder family members to use. We specifically rented a home with a bedroom on the lower level for them and we were shocked to see how low it was. The grass in the backyard was extremely overgrown and we had to ask for it to be cut. The pots and pans were pretty nasty and really should be upgraded along with some of the kitchen utensils. You plan and look forward to vacations and it’s very disappointing when you have to deal with all of these issues.

Jun 2019Our family enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable stay in Avondale. The house was spacious and clean with up to date amenities. The kids loved the pool and it was nice to have pool towels provided and a few pool toys. Hope to stay here again!

Mar 2019Fit our family of 8 nicely with the amount of space and bathrooms. Nice and quiet neighborhood with a park within walking distance for the kids to play at and shoot basketball hoops. Walmart and local grocery stores near by for shopping.
The bed mattress and pillows were are of poor quality after a few days. Due to the chillier weather and the pool not being heated the kids were not able to take advantage of the pool.

Feb 2019First impressions were not favorable. We could have checked in at 4pm but waited until 5:15. When we arrived the cleaning person was still doing laundry and cleaning. We were able to bring things in the house. It was a good hour before she had completed the duties. Overall, the house was supplied with what we needed.
