Wouldn't rent again. It was for honeymoon and could not use the pool due to heat not working. One of the reasons we rented this property was for the private heated pool.

While the house appeared to be clean, the house needs a lot of updates and repairs. The pool and hot tub were stained and it was obvious that routine maintenance was lacking. The drain cover in the hot tub was broken which could be considered a safety hazard. The jets to the hot tub didn’t work and we reported this immediately. No one got back to us so we had to reach out again. We were told that parts had been ordered, but would not arrive until Thursday. Thursday came and went and no working jets. When we reported the jets, we also reported that 2 of the bedroom fans did not work. We were told a work order would be placed yet the fans didn’t work the entire time. Since the air conditioner can be set no lower than 73, this made for very uncomfortable sleep for several people in the house. Note that other reviews dating back to October commented about ceiling fans not working.A representative of the management company came to the house one morning and went into the back without notifying anyone in the house that he was onsite. We went to leave only to find a truck blocking the driveway with no idea who it belonged to. We honked our horn to figure out who owned the truck. Turns out it was the company's representative who was in our backyard. He was upset with us for honking the horn and got up in arms when we mentioned he had completely blocked all access to the driveway. This behavior is unacceptable. A knock on the door to let us know they would be going into the back yard is all that was needed. To top it off, he left the backyard gate open when he left.After the negative experiences with management, we didn’t report any of the other issues that we noted, as we assumed nothing would be done about them. The following issues were also reported in other reviews:Toilet in queen bedroom ran most of the time.Lights on ceiling fans and several lamps did not work.Stains on carpet and paint chips on wallsCoffee maker does not work.Chairs in the kitchen were wobbly.Also, mold in two of the showers/tubs and rusted metal blinds in the shower of the shared bathroom. The pool table is a cheap plastic model not usable. Blind slats were missing in both twin bed rooms. Had to steal slats from other windows to maintain privacy for our kids. Temps dropped so we wanted to open windows, Upon opening the windows, we found the casing to be full of what appeared to be mold, so we were unable to keep them open.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

House needs work!!

Terrible STAY AWAY this is not a Castle!!!!
We were very excited to be spending vacation and the holidays in Florida. I should have taken the other reviews more seriously. The home is very out of date. Every wall in the house had paint missing. Many of the walls had holes. All base boards were very dirty. ALL window seals were dirty. The pool looked dirty, not sure if it was old paint because it didn’t move, wouldn’t matter because we paid the extra to heat and the POOL NEVER HEATED UP. Spoke with the owner who said talk to the manager who promised me a refund, now the owner refuses to refund. We never got to use the swimming pool because the water stayed cooled. Do yourself a favor and pay more and stay somewhere else. This was our 7th VRBO rental and it’s was our biggest regret. Owner seemed easy to work with until it was time to refund. The internet device was sitting on the floor in the kitchen. The air hockey table was broken and appears to have been that way for a long time. Carpet was old and many of the rooms had bleach marks on it. We could only take one shower before you ran out. Oh yeah I do have pictures that is proof of EVERYTHING I have stated Only thing fixed during our stay was the outside security light that I had to call about. This house needs updates, this home is not a Castle!!!! I tried to resolve, but understand even if every dollar was refunded I would still leave the same review.

We had to go purchase cleaning supplies and give an overall cleaning before we were comfortable bringing luggage in. Feet stuck to kitchen floor, sink had dead bugs around it and did not appear to have been cleaned. Shower was really dirty and whole group used same shower after we cleaned it as the other tub just couldn't be cleaned up. Hot tub / spa was cold and water filter was not circulating -called the property management and they never did respond the whole week we were there - spa water was green by the second day.
