The owners are very helpful and hospitable. We had a wonderful stay here. Breakfast was simply amazing.

The location was serene, quite, close to good eateries. The team of Dilip & Divya were sensitive to our needs, fixed up a delicious breakfast & fresh fruits !!

The location is superb, just adjacent to the back water. And the property is neat and clean. The host were very courteous and helpful. They arranged us for the boat tour, a truly mesmerising experience. The breakfast was also very plentiful and tasty.

The hosts and their attitude made all the difference. I had seen some reviews where people had mentioned about spicy food,lack of restaurant et al. Think it boils down to communicating with the hosts and it worked well for us. I am posting a picture of the hosts saying a bye to someone who stayed with them for a few days and I could see that they were very same to each and every guest!

The homestay is located in a quiet lane and is easily accessible. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is ample natural lighting. We appreciated the fact that switchboards were thoughtfully placed. The host, Divya, and her family were very welcoming and prompt with help and suggestions for things to do. Divya also went a step further and offered us their bike when we wanted to step out. The traditional breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed interacting with the family and would love to go back.

Tasty Keralite breakfast kindly served later to suit our convenience. Divya & Dilip were amazing hosts and went out of their way to arrange every little detail for us from our airport pick up, a very early check in, a special houseboat party on New Year’s eve inspite of the curfew and interesting local sightseeing. Highly recommend this quiet location facing the backwaters and a stay with this lovely family!

Our stay in mango Kerala homes was really nice experience, host was lovely and helpful. Neat and tidy room with air conditioning. Super location with riverside view. We had an exiting night dinner cruise in the house boat owned by them. Really highly recommend.

Lovely location and a wonderful host. Clean rooms and a lovely balcony.

Need a better arrangement for hot water. Otherwise everything was excellent.

It was a very beautiful stay! we felt like we are staying with a family. the hosts we’re very kind and we wish would have stayed little longer. They made our stay very memorable. we had two beautiful rooms and the breakfast was very yummy every day! we also enjoyed a dinner! The village tour organized by the family was also a highlight! I would recommend Kumarkom and the home stay! thank you very much for the hospitality!

Immediately on arrival we were welcomed by Divya and her beautiful family. We arrived extremely late, but they were both quick to help us settle into to our rooms. Both Divya and Dhillip were extremely helpful in organising breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us, if you give enough notice, they were able to cook all the typical Kerala dishes. It was a lovely stay and was like staying with my own family , very hospitable and can cater to your requests. My favourite was the trip on the houseboat, Dhillip cooked us an extraordinary feast and also let me try freshly tapped palm wine !

I didn’t expect breakfast. But was super happy with a nice Indian breaky. Yum

Great location on the River, full of village life. Great balcony and terrace, hosts family lovely. Diviya organised some great trips for us.

Everything: great location with wonderful hospitality. Both Divya and Dileep make you feel at your own home and will walk the extra mile to make trip a memorable and comfortable for all. We loved the breakfast and dinner at her place too.

Divya was an extremely warm host, her recommendations wrt to restaurants, Ayurvedic massage was spot on. We wanted homely food for dinner and each dish was excellent. You will find a lot of reviews for this property and none of them are overrated, we chose this place for the reviews and it delivered.

Divya Dileep and the kids are a super family who made us feel so comfortable and they catered to all our needs without batting an eyelid. The home cooked food was delicious. We recommend eating at their place as they made us experience the local fresh flavors of Kumarakom. Very happy with our stay.

Divya and her family are so helpful and welcoming, caring and gentle people. She made us magnificent breakfasts, arranged us unforgettable canoe ride through the backwaters, we enyoyed our stay very much.

Divya and her family are lovely and very welcoming, they all made us feel at home! the dinners were great, truly local food! The location was great, very close to the nature, they arranged for us a boat tour at sunset which was really stunning! The room is clean and comfortable
