This was a great property for my family and pet--great neighborhood, easy access to Georgetown and Austin, and excellent trails nearby.

This house was perfect for our family. The communication with the owner U.C. was good,quick to respond,very nice, honest, and easy to work with. I was sceptical after booking I saw a new review posted that was horrible. I immediately got a hold of him and questioned the issues with that review. So here's the deal... there is a garage,but that isn't available to use as the owner has it for storage,which is understandable,and perfectly fine. There is plenty of room in driveway and on street. We had a Yukon xl and a boat. The neighborhood is nice,lots of parks,friendly neighbors. Not super high end but nice and humble area. There are only cameras at the front and back doors,not inside. So dont try to sneak in extra people or pets.just talk to the owner,don't be disrespectful, you r in their home,and most people have a camera at the front door anyways,not uncommon. There were not any locked doors or rooms that we couldn't use.Even the garage which is off limits was unlocked. The air conditioning works fine. We stayed in the middle of July,it was super hot outside,no issues. Ask owner how it works it's a little different than most a.c. units. I would bring a fan or 2, it is the sunniest city in America. To help cool it down when arriving. The yard was huge,we had 2 pitbulls with us,and this was the best part for us so they can play. Fence has a few small gaps in it but there is extra boards out there to put up and block them off. The neighbors have a dog and my dogs will find a way to get through they r crazy,and they were just fine. When u get there before u let your dogs out,take a walk around the fence and just check it and adjust if needed. I would highly recommend bringing bug spray,citronella candles and treat your animals with flea and tick stuff. There is only 1 t.v. and it's in living room. But kind of a blessing in disguise with teenagers we actually got to spend time together. We r from st.louis,mo. This house was our first stop out of 4 for our family road trip/vacation. We had a mission to fulfill my father's wishes to have ashes spread out by lighthouse in port aransas, tx. We had a funeral in Austin, then headed down to port Aransas,tx for the spreading of his ashes.from there we went further down to south padre island, TX my favorite place as a kid to have some real fun. Then on our way home we stayed near Hot Springs, ar. It was a great experience overall,especially traveling with the whole family,boat,and 2 dogs, and having a funeral

The warmth and welcome of this property began months before I even arrived. I rented this property for a 5 day stay to attend a family even. The owner welcomed me and my wife as if we were all family! Upon arrival we were very impressed and satisfied with the home. Even though UC is working on some minor upgrades we didn't even notice that there were changes being made and work being done. UC kept in touch with us and was a awesome tour guide and ambassador of the city of Austin which was so very helpful since it was out first time visiting. There is so much for me to say about this awesome property, but all that can come to mind that sums it all up is FELT LIKE HOME!!! Thank you UC. Our stay at the property was the one bright spot of our visit, and we definitely plan to return, and plan to stay at that property if it is available.

There was a terrible oder when entering the home. Pictures photoshopped or enhanced. Was not impressed to say the least.

The property was located right where we had thought it would be. Between the two places we were visiting. So it worked out great. UC was available for questions at any time.

The owner is very welcoming, responsive, and accommodating! Nice home. Great amenities. Easy coming and going. Good location.

The house was located in a nice neighborhood. The house itself was very clean and actually bigger than what we thought. The owner made sure to let me know that he was available if any problems should arise, since he lives about a mile away. I would definitely use this place again when needed.

The house is spacious and comfortable. We found the accommodations to be clean and the beds were very comfortable. Spacious backyard with a small porch. Did wish that the porch was covered because it rained a lot of the time we were there but the cover was the open style Perrigola which is common in Texas. House has everything that is needed. There is a large TV in the main room but we never even turned it on. Might would recommend bringing extra bath towels with you if you don't want to be washing everyday but no big issue. Location was great and HEB is right around the corner. We never met UC but he was easy to communicate with and easy to work with. The large bottle of wine left for us was an added bonus.

The house had a good location for Round Rock. House needs to be professionally cleaned- dusting, bathrooms, etc. we were a bit disappointed as the pic made it look a lot cleaner and newer. I would suggest painting inside trim, curtain in kitchen, cleaning corners, floors in bathrooms, decor updated. We also had some ants, bugs and spider in bathroom.

The house did not look like the pictures. The floor was filthy. One sink didn’t drain right. The stairs were missing end strips and there was no futon as specified.

Thank you so much to our host! He was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of! Really great check in process. This is a older neighborhood but the family feel was great. Everyone outside walking the trails and spending time together was awesome. Several of my family members are starting families and each of them have this area as top priority for their new homes. I see why.

Super nice home. exactly what we needed for our short stay in Round Rock for a wedding in Georgetown. Clean and well kept - definitely would recommend this house for anyone staying near or in Austin!

Place was clean, as advertised, conveniently located. Near parks with nice walking paths, great HEB 5 minutes away. Quick access to freeways, easy travel to Austin or the Hill country. All at a great price. I’d do it again.

Owner was very nice with ample communication prior and during stay. House is spacious and comfortable. Description indicates 3 1/2 bath; however, it's really two bath with a bonus vanity. Washer/dryer were very nice! Price of rental is fair. However, the property is in need of considerable attention, like thorough cleaning and repairs. Reminded me of a repo house that had been neglected. Still, it met our basic needs for the cost. If improvements and cleaning were done, owner could ask more for the nightly rental. If you are looking for a well-appointed, super clean, stocked property, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a bargain, this is it! I will contact UC about specific details and if he makes those changes, we will definitely be willing to rent again.

I really should have calculated all the extra charges before booking on Vrbo. The final charges were almost double what the listing showed as a per night rate. However, the property owner was very kind and helpful in every possible way.

Upon arrival we found urine still in one of the toilets, the kitchen counters had food stains that I cleaned, the floors were dirty so we swept them, the dining room blinds are dirty, and dead bugs all over the bedroom floor upstairs. Given all of this we didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the beds so we only stayed part of the day until we found another place. I text the property owner to tell him. At first he asked what he could do to make it right but never responded after that. I even held my review to give him such a chance knowing that sometimes things happen and if he hired a 3rd party cleaning crew he may not have known. Will never do this again.
