Sep 2019Well the area lived up to its name, never seen wind like it. But that didn’t matter with the design of the house, big windows looking out towards the sea it was cool to see such wild weather from the comfort of the lounge while playing pool and having a beer. Awesome spot thank you. Ps the previous tenant had left a bag of rubbish and a box of bottles outside.

Jun 2021The owners should inform guests that the toilet and living area can only be accessed from the central courtyard. in other words outside toilet . This is not good if you have to go 3 times in the night. the power went out and it took time to find the switch board. Being in a remote location all of this needs to be explained

Jan 2021The location was fantastic, the proximity to the lagoon and the beach was great. However, the cleanliness of the Bach was questionable. I do not expect to clean toilets, cupboards, cutlery drawers on arrival. A power point hanging from the wall, a lid that kept falling off the kettle, an oven that made a disturbing noise and oven door falling loose and light bulb missing were issues that should be attended to. The furnishings and fittings were not up to the standard expected. The lack of internal access to the bathroom and bedrooms should be clearly mentioned on the website because it makes it unsafe for young children getting up in the night. If the safety, cleaning and furnishing issues were addressed I would give this property a higher rating.

Aug 2020Such an amazing bach and location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay off the grid. Thoroughly worth the drive on the shingle road. A real special place that we were blessed to experience.

Sep 2020My family had the best time ever. The house was beautiful, the scenery was spectacular. Heaps of things to do, we weren’t even bothered about the reception or wifi, it was worth every cent. P.s We have iphones. at the white gate towards the beach is where we found our phones getting reception. 5 bars full. I highly recommend this wonderful house with 5 stars for everything

Definitely a summer bach, but the heater warmed the living area nicely. Beautiful view. A great place to get away from it all. Would love to visit again in the summer. :)

Jul 2020Location to beach and property is wonderful. Sadly, let down terribly by the lack of cleanliness. We had to spend 40-50 minutes cleaning the kitchen, benchtops, cutlery, toilet etc before unpacking our food or using the toilet. The entire house could use a weekend cleaning to be honest. We were hoping to book again with our children but would not consider going back,

Mar 2019It was idyllic until the owners turned up on Saturday to mow the lawns as we were about to have a quiet time and beauty treatments. Aside from that just wonderful. A perfect place to unwind

Jan 2021Great location. Fantastic views of beach. Great set up for family living although some shade ( sun umbrella on picnic tables or sail on back deck) would have made it more comfortable on hot days. Some cleaners would have made cleanup at end more thorough. Would happily stay again.
