"BEARADISE CHALET" - EINZIGARTIGES, abgeschiedenes Refugium (WHO'LD GUESS IT'S IN TOWN?)

We had a wonderful time! We had 4 families, 2 of which had 2 children each, ranging in age from 15 down to 3. We had plenty of room for everyone! The grills were great and the pool table was a big hit! We also loved the screened porches and the sound of the rushing water. Everything that we needed was there. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time!

We had a wonderful time at the Bearadise cabin. We went with 3 generations of our family and we easily had a spot for everyone. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and walking down to and along the creek.

We had a great time at the Chalet! What a unique property and a great location. Easily travel to Lake Lanier, Helen, or any of the state parks!

We had 7 adults and 3 children under the age of 5. The house was perfect for our group. We all had a nice, comfy, fresh bed and the bunk beds were a hit with the little ones. The kitchen was excellently stocked for preparing meals. And the benches at the dining room table made it possible for us all to eat together as a family. The bathrooms were clean and stocked well. Me and the three babies enjoyed the jetted tub in the evenings after playing in the Yahoola all day. The path to the water could be tricky for the elderly but we managed it well with the little ones. The location of this property is phenomenal and it is so quiet. The sound of the water can be heard from the porch which made for a very relaxing place to sit. We saw and heard lots of birds and a few hummingbirds came to visit. The owner is phenomenal and was readily available although we had no issues. This was the best getaway our family has ever had so we are booking another getaway next year around the same time. Very pleased, and extremely happy customer!!! Ken is the best!!

We attended a wedding in the area and because we had so many family members, decided to rent a home. This wooded home was the ideal fit. It had beautiful views from the back to the creek below with the true babbling brook sound we read about. Our grand children played in the creek which was very safe and accessible. The home had a great layout with the basement that was well appointed with a pool table, bar and sleeping quarters. The open family room and kitchen made for warm family time. We loved the bear & wildlife ornaments which made for just the right feel. Ken was a gracious host and check on us several times. We have used VRBO on many occasions and this location is a winner.

We attended a wedding at the Oak Barn. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to spend time with extended family. The home was beautiful and spacious. We had three families and had lots of space inside and out. Would rent again.

Too many decorations on tables, beds. We needed more room to put our things. Washing machine didn't work, but owner said it was new and had a computer problem, it could not be resolved while we were there. City was beautiful.

This was a great place for a family vacation. There were 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room for all of us to get together- yet have our own privacy. The only major issue was the water system was very low. It was difficult taking a shower or using water on the various floors if water was being used on another floor. For example if water was running in the kitchen - the water pressure in the other bathrooms was literally a drip. You could not flush the toilet or take a shower. Other than that it was a great vacation.

This place was fantastic. We were all in town from South Florida for my son's graduation and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The highlights: Tons of space. There are covered porches, sitting areas along the river, and other outdoor areas throughout the property, There are three floors of living space and you can really spread out and feel like you have some privacy. The down stairs was the highlight for my kids. Pool table and a space to call their own. Everything you need is there. We cooked a lot, relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. WE could cook for 10 no problem and they had all the dishes, etc you could ever need. The furnishings are unique and comfortable. This is a hanging out place. You won't want to leave. The owner is great and easy to work with. The whole process could not have been any easier. Ken was terrific. So - in conclusion. If you are headed to North Georgia/Dahlonega and you want space, quiet and comfort you should definitely put this place on your list. We will be back,

Ken is very accommodating and leaves nice surprises for us.The house is big enough for all of us but the best place to be is on the porch. It overlooks the tranquil river below.. I once heard native drums playing in the distance. The river is the happening place for us. We spend the day in the water. The kitchen is well stocked which makes cooking easy. Things to consider for older guests is the path to the water. It is steep and making your way through the narrow path to the river can be challenging. There are also steps inside the house to the master bedroom upstairs and steps downstairs to a bedroom, pool table, bar area, laundry, and bathroom. There are two main level bedrooms for those who might have difficulty with steps.There are sitting areas outside. One area has the firepit with chairs and an area on the deck with 3 different grills. The house was recently freshly painted outside..There are some updates needed here and there inside but overall a great house, a great owner, a fantastic location...very privare.We love visiting and playing in the water with the entire family..Infants to grandparents..

The owners were great with communicating and the cabin is in a great location. We were disappointed in the amount of dust on fans, hanging off windows and against the walls. The exterior of the property, although secluded in the wilderness, was more like a junkyard of rotted furniture. This property has so much potential but a massive cleaning interior and exterior is needed.

The location was perfect and Ken couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everything was what we expected from the time we arrived until we left.

The house was great - clean, comfortable, well equipped. The view is lovely. BUT - if you are looking for easy river access (we had 2 kids looking forward to it), this is not it. The river is down a very steep path - we didn’t try taking the kids. The outdoor furniture needs some love, but we lived on the deck.

The cabin was fantastic/ It’s so close to everything, but still isolated enough for a mountain trip. The cabin has a great view of a creek. Plenty of space for a big group and the owner was so accommodating and nice! The pictures don’t do it justice. You also have so much outdoor space as well. It’s the best find! We will be staying here again and again!

The cabin offered much more than we were expectacting. There were multiple levels to enjoy outside the cabin. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the lazy river, but plan on returning to the cabin in the near future.

The cabin is well-equipped. It is at the end of a large, nice neighborhood, but it certainly feels private. The small creek is nice. The owner was readily available and helpful. We didn't need much, but he answered our questions.

Thanksgiving 2018 will be one for the memory book! My daughter could not travel far due to pregnancy; so, we needed a cabin that would accept dogs. My 75 pound light golden retriever, grand dog, had a blast playing in the creek at the foot of the chalet! My adult children, son-in-law and I enjoyed our time around the fire place playing board games and eating way too much food in celebration of America's history at Thanksgiving!

Overall very nice. Secluded house. Yahoola creek to play in. Cold water. House is furnished nicely. No needs unmet during our 8 day stay . Owner is responsive and accessible at all times. Thanks!
