Könnte leicht nach Chicago pendeln, wenn nötig. Genau das richtige Gleichgewicht von allem. Check-In / Check-Out Zeit ist östliche Zeitzone.

Jul 2019We just returned from a two week stay at this cute, charming property! We totally enjoyed our stay! The location to the lake is about a 1 1/2 block walk. The property provided everything we needed for the kitchen, bedrooms and items for the lake. It was thoughtfully appointed. Sad to have to leave.

Aug 2020We have stayed at several rental homes in the area over the past ten years. This one definitely makes our favorites list! The cottage was super clean and has a great floor plan. Master bedroom and dining area are at the back of the home, making it easy to stay up later for board games and conversation after children go to sleep. The gated deck is so nice for pets and children. Howard has several nice ameneties making the cottage well-supplied and very comfortable! The beach is a short walk and not as many steps down as some other areas. We love the area for the bicycling, kayaking, fresh fruit, beach and restaurants. Howard is a great host! We highly recommend this quaint cottage! Thank you for a great week!

Aug 2018We have stayed at a number of places in Lakeside, Union Pier, Harbert, Bridgman, etc. and this one is one of our favorites. The cottage is very well laid out and well stocked and the location is great. Howard was a great host and we had a blast.

Apr 2021We had such a wonderful time at the house! It was exactly as advertised - clean, bright, and fully stocked. Our four adults and a pup really enjoyed our whole trip - even though it was rainy for some of the time. The house was cozy and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

Aug 2021We had a wonderful stay for a full week in Union Pier. The cottage was very comfortable, well appointed, and close to the beach. Perfect for our family and pet friendly. Hope to stay again next year.

Sep 2021We had a very nice stay at Howard’s property. We had everything we needed; the beach supplies (wagon especially) were much appreciated. This is a great place to stay if you have small kids and want to be within walking distance of a small, not/crowded beach. 10 minutes to the dunes, and a 10 minute walk to the shops on the Main Street for gelato or groceries.

Aug 2018We had a great vacation at Howard’s house. The place had all the beach amenities we needed as well as great amenities around the house (comfortable beds, coffee, washer/dryer, books/toys). Howard was great as well and gave us a personal tour when we arrived. Beach was a close walk away. We had everything we needed!

Aug 2021We had a great stay. A good family vacation. One of the best houses we've rented in over 20 years of going to Union Pier. The kitchen and deck are big. Close to the beach and market, bakery, gelato place, Whistle Stop, and Red Arrow Road House.

Jul 2022We had a great family vacation. This property was wonderful - clean, well cared for, and had everything you would need for a beach vacation. The owner's were very responsive to any questions we had. And the location is perfect. My daughters enjoyed walking to local places to eat, I loved being just a few blocks from the beach, and my mom spent hours reading on the back deck. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Union Pier.

Jul 2020This gem was perfect for our family vacation! Everything was 'as advertised' -- close to the beach, wonderful outdoor space, and fully stocked with books, toys and everything you need for the beach. We visited cafes and stores within walking distance, and enjoyed morning jogs along Lakeside Road. Howard was a lovely host -- responsive and very easy to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future!

Aug 2022This cottage was perfect for our family vacation! It has a nice living room where we could all be together indoors, and a nice deck area where we could be together outside! The outdoor shower was such a nice bonus...my sister & my son used it everyday! The beach was just a quick walk away (4-5 min), and the cottage had a cute area where we could wash sand off our feet (little frogs). My son (age 7) just loved it! The cottage was so cute and had all the comforts of home-oven, dishwasher, microwave, air conditioning, etc. There are so many books & games that were available to us. And thank you for letting us use your wagon...it came in so handy to get all our stuff to the beach! We all had our separate bedrooms for privacy as well. Howard was so quick to respond when we reached out. Thank you for renting your adorable cottage to our family. We really enjoyed our time there!

May 2019This cottage preserve's the old Union Pier charm. Comfortable, and in a great location, very close to beach and local town. Owner was extremely thoughtful, and accommodating, which makes ALL the difference. Great stay.

Nov 2020The perfect weekend and the perfect little spot for my family (me, husband, two toddlers, and my parents). Walk to beach, drive to Warren Dunes State Park, walked to restaurant, drove into New Buffalo, excellent communication with Howard the owner. We loved our stay and have fond memories of the weekend.

Jun 2020The house was perfect! We had a sunny and warm week on the lake. With restaurants closed, we did a lot of cooking and the house is well equipped for family dinners and grilling out. Howard met us upon check-in and was a delight.

Aug 2018The house was clean and stocked as far as plates, glasses, utensils, laundry items, towels, etc. it was nice having use of washer/dryer and dishwasher. Our only complaint was the parking ticket we got. Even though we were in parking space in front of house, we parked against traffic direction over night and got a $50 ticket. While I know you should park in direction of traffic flow, didn’t think it mattered on side road with little car movement. Saw many cars parked the same on side streets and wonder if tickets were given to all. Mr Hirsch is very pleasant to deal with and again, house was clean and well stocked.

Jul 2020Small cottage but great floor plan with 3 BRs, 2 baths, ample kitchen and nice dining and living area. small yard but nice deck and eating area. We could walk to beach in a couple minutes, same for walking to stores. Area is very quiet. We loved it! Owner is easy to work with. Just a great area and nice cottage.

Aug 2021Pleasently surprised how clean it was and plenty of thoughtful items like doggie bags, kitchen and stocked with necessities, nice size deck with dining seating, gas grill, the list goes on. The outdoor shower helped kids to clean off before going into the house after the beach.

Sep 2018My sister and I rented this cottage as a special trip with our parents to celebrate our dad's birthday. The cottage was just the right size for the four of us, the kitchen was well stocked (including coffee), the dining room was big and bright and the porch was a lovely place to have lunch. We took a couple of nice hikes nearby.

Aug 2021Location is perfect and easy walking distance to all Union Pier has to offer. No board games so be sure to bring your own. Loved the outdoor shower especially after taking our puppy to the beach with us. Howard was very easy to reach when any issues arose during our stay.
