Mar 2022What a great property! Our family (3 girls - high school and college ages) even enjoyed just hanging out! So many activities in the backyard to keep you from having to drive all over town and deal with the spring break crowds. We loved the hiking nearby and the mountain bikes. The biggest surprise was the pickle ball court that was just added recently so we weren’t expecting it. We all had fun playing pickle ball in the mornings and late afternoons. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and feel at home. Definitely want to return to this property for another vacation!

Dec 2020We rented this house with another family and it was perfect for the two families. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub! We also enjoyed the mountain bikes, pool table and ping pong! The house was really well stocked with the exception of towels - could've used more for the number of people the house accommodates. The only down side of this house is that it's a little far away from stores, restaurants, etc. but very quiet and peaceful.

Its a bit out of the way, but if you love the Arizona landscape, you'll appreciate the trailheads close by. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who to my son and I out on his off-road buggy into the national forest down the street. We had an absolute blast, and its something we won't forget!

Dec 2022We have rented homes around the US as well as overseas and found this home to be fantastic. Well layed out with tons of amenities. It also was the best stocked place we have ever stayed. Serene location close to so many hiking trails. Most golf courses were within a 20-30 minute ride. The owner Lee also took us on a ride through the desert on his ATV (4 seater). What a great experience. The house easily holds 8 people and could hold more. Pool and exterior space is awesome too. We will be back for sure!

Nov 2022This was a wonderful home. Upon arrival my wife met with the owner. He was very accommodating and walked her through the nuances of the home. Perfect property for family's to gather for the holidays or in our case nieces wedding. Pickle ball tournaments was a major hit with all. Owner had drawers labeled the made cooking away from home a breeze. We highly Recommend this property and we will definitely keep it on our radar for future stays in Scottsdale

Nov 2020This was a perfect family escape from the reality of 2020. The house, pool and hot tub were perfect. The pool table and ping pong provided hours of family time, and the mountain bikes were a great bonus. Miles of beautiful desert trails are just steps from the front door. Kai was an excellent host, and we look forward to getting back down there soon.

Feb 2019This was a great house for our family of 6 adults plus a grandchild...because we really were looking to hang with each other. It is in a very remote location- but across the street from the north section of the McDowell regional preserve which is gorgeous desert. 15-20 min at 50 mph to a grocery store or well reviewed restaurants. 40 min to old town Scottsdale. Beautiful and varied hikes in both north and South sections of the preserve. Spectacular sunsets at the house and in the neighborhood. We noticed a review about trouble with the pool/hot tub heating that posted the week before our trip. I called The guest contact to see if I could be assured that the heating system was working as this was a feature that we were requiring in any rental. I was so assured but it was not to be. Evolve did get the pool guy out quickly but we saw him several days. With the weather being chilly, the only comfortable use of the yard area was to be in the hot tub but on several days we walked out in the morning to discover that it had drained itself and it took most of the day to refill. The owners gave us one night refund but we had paid $800 ($100 a day) to heat the water and had few opportunities to enjoy the amenity. Very disappointing. Evolve was disappointed in the owners’ offer as well and gave me a credit to use toward another rental with them at any of their properties. I rent luxury homes at least twice a year so I’m likely to benefit from that. Cash would have been better but they actually performed well and were very kind and professional in all our interactions-it was the owners that disappointed us.

May 2020This is the second time my family stayed in this home. We loved the home the first time because of the location and proximity to the trails. We were very disappointed this time we stayed. When we checked in the home was not clean. We had to spend the first 30 minutes of our trip wiping down counter tops, chairs, and throwing away trash and recycling. When we went outside to check out the pool, it was murky and had a green tint to it. I sent a text to the property manager and did not hear back for quite some time. There is a sun shade in the back that was not rolled up. When my youngest child ran underneath it, the whole shade moved and I noticed that one side had ripped out of the wall. I tried to crank the shade up, but it did not work. So I went to the garage and found a ladder and screwdriver and "fixed" the shade myself. I told the property manager about this too. Then next day the kids were in the hot tub and complained about something sharp on the floor. I looked and saw that the drain cover was broken and the sharp plastic pieces were sticking up at the bottom. Again, I grabbed a screwdriver and some goggles and removed the sharp plastic pieces. I told the property manager and again, heard nothing back. That night we were going to grill some steaks on the grill and heated it up. When I was about to put the steaks on the propane tank was empty. Again, texted and called the property manager and ... crickets. It turns out there was a full bottle of propane on the property that we found the next day. He could have made us aware of, but did not. Overall the place is nice, spacious, but is in need of some maintenance. Also, told the manager that there were only 3 pool towels on the property for a house that is supposed to sleep 16. Not nearly enough. In the future we will find another home that fits out needs.

Apr 2019This is an outstanding property that is thoroughly equipped from the kitchen to the pool, has comfortable beds, and is well managed. Having stayed at many VRBO properties and as an owner of two VRBO properties, I know the range of quality available! This place has excellent kitchen utensils, is extremely clean, has a great pool and hot tub, excellent outdoor grill, etc. we hiked and mountain biked nearby. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet with views of the mountains in all directions. We had an awesome stay!

Mar 2019This home has everything you need for a desert escape...3 couples shared this vacation paradise in early March...spacious kitchen and well stocked...beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms...backyard for grilling and relaxing. We did have an issue with the hot tub, as there were no controls that we could find to regulate ourselves, but were given a satisfactory resolution by Conner and the Evolve team after our stay...they were very responsive and professional!

If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded getaway for your family, this is it!!! Yet close to grocery, restaurants, etc. if you prefer. The owner was delightful and the management company always responded immediately to our questions! We will be back! Thank you for a great stay!!

The house was big enough that we could all have our own space and the common areas were nicely arranged for gathering and cooking together. This house is perfect for a family reunion.

Nov 2019Sometimes we have a tendency to take the little things in life for granted. This trip was a reminder for me that there is tremendous beauty world. For a few days, I was able to enjoy watching the sun set while the mountains added to the scenery of the living painting. The nights were cool...brisk, and the stars twinkled about. For me, this is just what I needed. This is a little paradise. Run away from the world, and this is the place to come. Scottsdale I will return back to you again very soon...that's a promise.

Jan 2020Property was easy to get to and representative of the listing and photos. A little more remote than we anticipated, but not an inconvenience with shopping 15 minutes away for groceries, etc. Very comfortable for a group of 6. Kitchen was well stocked. Bedrooms had good separation for each couple. The mattresses were comfortable. We experienced a slight inconvenience with the automated control of the hot tub/pool heating and operation by the property manager. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable.

Having been to the Carefree area several times we knew that this would be off the beaten path which is what we wanted. We had a great time riding ATV's in the desert and FINALLY made the drive to see the Grand Canyon. Only piece of feedback is that when following the request not to cool the house below 78 (which we honored) it does get quite warm, especially in the master suite.

Apr 2019Loved the house. It was even better than the photos depict. Very clean and lots of extra amenities included; such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc.
Kyle, the house contact person was awesome! Although we never met in person, he was always available via text to answer any questions and did so very timely. I left my jacket behind and didnt realize I did until I was at the airport. I called Kyle and he offered to have it shipped to me and did so early the next day!
We've rented several other properties, usually through the owners; however, it seems more and more luxury homes are now being rented through rental companies which can often be impersonal and somewhat unpleasant. That was not the case with Evolve. They were great to work with, friendly, personable and easy to reach prior to and after the trip.
The house is away from the city, so if you want to run to the store, it's a 15-20 min drive. That wasnt a problem at all, but worth mentioning. It's an easy drive and quite scenic. All in all this is a 5 star rental property and I would recommend it to anyone considering it.

Mar 2020Loved our stay at this property! Despite cool and very rainy weather (and spring training cancelled), we had a fun and relaxing time just hanging out as a family. The hot tub and heated pool was our savior with the cruddy weather. Both worked perfectly and we all spent countless hours enjoying. We will be back!!

Jan 2019It was a lovely property with beautiful scenery. However, we didn’t know but you can’t heat the pool and hot tub at the same time. We had the pool man over twice and propane truck had to come. It was pretty cool for that time of year, but we were disappointed we really couldn’t swim and that was a huge reason we didn’t stay in a resort. If you expect a warm pool and hot tub, go somewhere else. We paid $100 a day to heat the pool, and the owners kindly reimbursed us, and the manager was extremely accommodating during the stay. He even pushed for early check-In and had flowers provided at extra cost for my parents (it was their 40th anniversary). Overall, great stay!

Jul 2021If you're looking for an oasis in the desert then look no further. A little off the beaten path but that's OK as the house, pool, and amenities were fantastic!!!I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to escape reality for a while!!
