Aug 2019We really enjoyed our stay at your beach home. It was a relaxing time away from home and it was great that we could bring our boat for our vacation. Our only concern was about the mattresses as they may need to be replaced soon. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Sep 2020We had a really fun trip visiting Fenwick Island for the first time, and this property and Fred played a big part! It is right on the water with a nice back deck and grill. It's location is also pretty close to the center of Fenwick Island and the beach as well as grocery stores, which made it easy to get around. Finally, Fred is very accommodating and responsive and has a great vacation kit with important information on his property, the community, and the surrounding area. I recommend booking with him!

Jul 2016We enjoyed our stay last week very much. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view and sunsets. The home was well equipped with everything you could need and very comfortable. The community is nice as well.
The only things we didn't enjoy which the owner is not in total control of was the "private beach" was actually a picnic area not a beach at all and the pool was disappointing as well. My sons are very experienced swimmers and were constantly scolded by a lifeguard that nit picked all the kids in the pool. The worst part was his English was a little broken and none of the children even knew what they were doing wrong. Not very relaxing so we enjoyed the beach instead.
Highly recommend checking this home out especially if you want one floor living for your vacation.

Jun 2018We enjoyed our stay at this lovely waterfront home. The house was comfortable, clean, and in a wonderful location. The only negative (and it wasn’t a very big deal) was the kitchen. The appliances are outdated and the cupboards are disorganized. Also, there is not enough silverware for the number of people the house accommodates. Overall, we had a terrific vacation.

Aug 2021The property and home were very nice. It was very well stocked for guests as well. The two queen beds definitely need to be replaced. Another thing is I keep trash cans in all bathrooms and bedrooms at my home for convenience. Also, large flat screens in every bedroom because sometimes everybody has a certain genre of programming they enjoy (especially if there were children vacationing). As adults, we went out and played games at the house for a lot of laughs. Thank the Laisses for sharing their shore house with us.

Aug 2017The house is perfect for a small family ....the deck on the lagoon is awesome ! The owners are helpful and friendly in their communications! My only comment would be, also as expressed by other renters, the appliances in the house are antiquated and so out of date!...and really need to be updated! Other than that..a very comfortable home!

Aug 2022Perfect for our family of 4. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home and more. Fred was excellent in communicating with any questions we had. TVs in the spare bedrooms would be nice but not a game changer for us. Overall would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Aug 2017Nice location for boating and a beautiful view of the sunset (from outside the back of the house). We spent much of our time on the lovely deck! Having young grandchildren with us, we appreciated the separation of the bedrooms and how quiet the spaces were. The kitchen gave us plenty of room to cook as a family, though the appliances are antiquated (but very clean). The master suite is really roomy also. A very comfortable, homey rental for a two week stay. The community is one we go back to every year---boat launch ramp and parking, play ground, pool, safe for walking & biking, traffic light to exit--it really is convenient and family oriented. We enjoyed every minute. (It would be nice to have less of the owner's belongings in the closets.) We found the owner very responsive.

Sep 2019It’s a spacious charming home. The location can’t be beat, it was close to market, restaurants, beach and fun activities. The community pool was an added plus!
The setting on the bay was beautiful.
We were very happy with our choice and hope to return.

Aug 2021Great house but even outdoor space!Dinner on the water every night because there was a large table and plenty of seating.We were worried when we pulled up to the house but were pleasantly surprised when we went inside because there was plenty of living space in this ranch style home.Everyone in the community was friendly and helpful!All enjoyed our vacation!

Oct 2017First off I'd like too thank Fred for being so accommodating and a pleasure too deal with.We arrived for a 3 day weekend.We were 3 couples.The house is situated with the canal in the back and a beautiful view from the front of the bay.There is a nice sized deck in back with plenty of seating.A few steps down and your overlooking the canal which we enjoyed while doing some fishing and crabbing.There is a picnic table and gas barbecue grill located between bulkhead and deck.The house was very clean and had everything we needed.Parking for 2 cars possibly 3.Plenty of restaurants shopping,and entertainment just minutes from house.We had a fantastic time and would love to return again.Thank you Fred.
