Unsere 800 sf Hütte ist voll ausgestattet mit allen Notwendigkeiten von zu Hause ausgestattet. Das Ferienhaus für 8 (6 Erwachsene Max bitte) - ein französisches Bett, 2 Einzelbetten, 2 Futon Sofas, die auf große Betten falten. Das Cottage verfügt über eine offene Terrasse mit Holzkohlegrill und einem abgeschirmten Schutz, in dem Sie in einem Schaukelstuhl und genießen in der herrlichen Blick auf den See entspannen. Genießen Sie unseren großen Hof mit Feuerstelle, eigene Pier und unsere Fischreinigungstisch. Wir sind tierfreundlich zu gut erzogene Hunde. NICHTRAUCHER in Cottage erlaubt, wird aber auf dem Deck erlaubt und abgeschirmt Schutz. Oct 2021We were looking for privacy, peace and quiet for our Anniversary getaway, however the night of our arrival we both had issues trying to sleep. My husband ended up in one bed and I slept in a chair. We were awakened the next morning by the lovely sound of a chainsaw as there was a tree service taking down trees. This was definitely not the property owner's fault nor could they have known it would happen. We made the decision to leave after the first night as this property was not private by any means and not quiet enough for us. I think it would be a great place for maybe a younger couple with kids that are aware that it is a neighborhood and not a secluded location as the pictures tend to make one think it is. We have stayed in several cottages/cabins at various lakes around East Texas and we learned a lesson on this trip to make sure we research a property just a little better next time as this was a very expensive 1 night stay.

Mar 2021We were looking for a place to relax and go fishing. This was right on the water perfect to go out in the boat or just sit in the yard are on the dock and relax and watch the wildlife and enjoy the peace and quiet just reading a book. The cottage was very nicely decorated, very spacious and had everything you could possibly need. We will definitely return.

Jan 2022We rented this cabin on the lake for our birthday weekend and to get away from the city. The owners were great and kept in contact. Very beautiful lake front cabin. Very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Nov 2019We really enjoyed our quick stay over Thanksgiving. We had perfect fall weather and enjoyed every fine detail this cottage had to offer. It was a great mix of rustic cozy cottage and well refined amenities and decor. We were greeted by a warm welcome and had our own mini Christmas tree. The first morning we met some of the furry friends next door, they came and gave us a cute welcome. This cottage cabin had everything you would need for a relaxing and playful stay. From inside board games for all ages and tons of outdoor amenities from grilling, paddling and lounging by the waterfront by day or by fire. Located on a quiet inlet we were far enough away from other lake homes and close enough to nature.

Mar 2019We had a fabulous time at Oak Haven. The kids loved spending time on the lake in the kayaks and paddle boats. We cooked our dinners over the coals in the fire pit to enjoy the camping experience, but when it was colder in the mornings, we were nice and cozy in the cottage. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There were games and dvds for the kids. It was nice and clean. A perfect little get away!

Aug 2020We absolutely loved staying at the Oak Haven Lakeside Cottage. It was perfect for us to have fun and relax with our two dogs.
The cabin was spotless, and Michael and Tracy are the best!

Jun 2020Very cute and small cabin. I would not have more than 4 to sleep over night. Open concept living and kitchen area. We loved the space of the backyard and the long dock! We brought our two small dogs and they absolutely loved it too. Stayed inside in the middle of the day. They have a lot of movies and board games to play. Would highly recomment for a nice quiet and relaxing getaway.

Aug 2021This property is right on the lake. The owners provide several boats (a paddle boat, a couple of canoe) would have loved to use a canoe, but My legs don't work well these days. There is a dock and plenty of chairs. My wife and I sat outside for a while just enjoying the view. Even got a small breeze off the lake. The one thing I would encourage folks to do, is bring WATER to drink. I am a tap water fellow, but this water is VERY heavy with chlorine. I honestly would not recommend drinking it even for coffee. Otherwise, they have everything. Plenty of towels (for bathroom, not outdoor) spices, soap, just about anything you could need. An extremely nice place to stay. OH, there is a boat ramp on the property. I am pretty sure you can put your boat in right there. So especially good for those who enjoy water sports.

Aug 2019This place is amazing! Great place for the kids to swim and play in the water, as well as a good fishing place. We caught several channel cat in the evening and had a fish fry on two different nights during our week-long stay. During the day we all played on the peddle boat and kayaks, and at night we fished from the fishing pier on the property. It was perfect!
Michael and Tracy were wonderful! They were quick to respond to any questions we had. Their property was clean and well-kept, and they thought of anything and everything you might need during your stay. We would love to stay again in the future. Great family place!

Sep 2021This cabin was the perfect haven away from the craziness of a week long family reunion. It is one of the best stocked rentals we have ever stayed in. The only 2 things we wish it had are a washer and dryer. Our only regret is that we did not have the time to enjoy getting out on the lake.

Dec 2021The home had everything we needed and wanted! We were there for Thanksgiving so didn't get to enjoy the lake but just having it at the property edge was enough. A beautiful drive out from Dallas, peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and a generous show of stars. 3 dogs and a teenager were all happy so it was a success!

Sep 2020The cabin was perfect for 2 people, but 4 would have fit comfortably. It was well-equipped and easy to get to. We enjoyed the peace and serenity under the tall trees and will definitely return.

Mar 2022The cabin was nice and comfortable. The inlet to the lake is wonderful. I especially like the little "tree island" at the mouth of the lake. It's a great marker especially for kayaking. I'm definitely looking forward to staying again.
