Apr 2019We stayed here for 3 nights with our adult kids and grandkids and there was plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful harbor view, lots of deck space and 3 bathrooms! It was very walkable to the beach and would have been walkable to the Boardwalk, but the railroad bridge was closed for renovations. This made the Boardwalk not walkable, but it was a short drive. Great place for families that like to hang out together!

Jun 2018We shared this home with another family and found this property suited our needs. We could walk to Sea Bright Beach, the Marina, Boardwalk, Pier and to plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. It's nothing fancy, however it is a great property if you want to park the car and walk to multiple locations.

Apr 2019We loved our stay in Santa Cruz! We surfed with Club Ed's Surfing School and walked to the beach. The boardwalk and wharf were fun for the whole family.

Mar 2022We had a wonderful time and this property helped with making the weekend amazing. We had 4 adults, (2) 7-year-olds, and (1) 14 year old. There was plenty of space for all of us. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's a very spacious Townhome, with large rooms and bathrooms. Very comfy beds and a very well-stocked kitchen. My only complaint is.... it's time for new knives. The view is breathtaking and its just a few blocks away from the beach. Very well located. We'll be staying here again.

Feb 2022We had a wonderful time and this property helped with making the weekend amazing. We had 4 adults, (2) 7-year-olds, and (1) 14 year old. There was plenty of space for all of us. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's a very spacious Townhome, with large rooms and bathrooms. Very comfy beds and a very well-stocked kitchen. My only complaint is.... it's time for new knives. The view is breathtaking and its just a few blocks away from the beach. Very well located. We'll be staying here again.

Enough room for 3 generations ( 4 kids ages 7-12, 2 sets of parents and 2 grandfolks) to spread out and/or be together. Pleasant walk to a perfect beach, close enough to the fun boardwalk, within walking distance to good restaurants. We just wonder why we had to supply own towels or pay $100 to have them supplied! We have stayed in perhaps 30 rentals in the past 4 years and NEVER have been asked to do that. Otherwise, no complaints.

Mar 2022This was our first time staying at this property. It was perfect for 3 couples, with plenty of room both inside and out. We enjoyed spending time on the deck watching the yachts in the harbor. The pictures of the property don’t do it justice, especially the kitchen which was noted as being “small” in several reviews. We found the space was laid out perfectly and really appreciated having a pantry to store food. We are hoping to return again.

Sep 2021This was a perfect location for a family trip. Beach was 2 blocks away and the boardwalk was .9 miles. Both an easy walk and left the cars parked. Looking out over the harbor was beautiful and we walked twice down to the light house. Easily accommodated 8 adults and 3 kids. There was even a high chair and pak n play available. Yacht club right next door for some added people watching over the weekend

Apr 2022This is a great property in a great location. However, after booking the owners contacted me (very promptly) and told me there would be a $10 per person upcharge for towels. For the price of the stay I would have expected there to be towels. It seemed a little nickel and dime to me. We had a problem with the water quality and the owners got right back to me. I would suggest running the water for at least 20 minutes on arrival. The city water guys told us that the water was stagnant and took on color because it hadn't been run in a while. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The location would easily sleep 9 people. The location is wonderful and it has a great deck.

Aug 2020This home is spacious, is in a great location, and has a wonderful view.
The owners are very easy to work with and respond quickly to questions or issues.
However, there were a few huge issues. The railing on the main deck has deteriorated causing the balusters to fall out. The gaping holes were plenty big enough for a child to fall through, and the drop was more than 15 feet. This was cause for concern since we had three children under the age of 5.
Upon arrival at the house we all removed our shoes at the door. Within a short period of time the bottoms of our feet were black. We found a mop, but it was dirtier than the floor, so we proceeded to scrub all the hard-surface floors on our hands and knees. More scrubbing was needed in the kitchen because the surfaces were grimy
and sticky.
Even though we knew from the pictures and description that the kitchen was small, we were dismayed to find that there was no where to put the food that we brought - the amount was substantial since we weren't planning to dine out during the pandemic. We sought the pantry, only to find it in such disarray that we couldn't use it.
Considering these issues and a few other smaller ones (no key in the lock box, trees being removed eliminating our parking area for a day and a half, having to call a plumber, a TV that didn't work), we had hoped for some type of monetary restitution, but none was offered.

Jan 2018This condo was very good for the 8 of us, including 3 kids. The views from the dining room (with seating for 8) and deck were over the harbor, out to the bay, and quite delightful, especially for both sunrise and sunset. The kitchen was well-equipped; beds were comfortable with plenty of warm coverings. Some places advertise "sleeps 8" when there are 2 bigger beds and 2 futons or sofa beds. This had 2 kings, a queen, and three twins, truly allowing for sleep in a bed. There was a fireplace that helped add to the ambience. The location made for easy walking all over town and to beaches as well as to the Boardwalk. The owners were welcoming, sending us info along the way, and answering questions.

Sep 2019The home was located in a great location. There was enough room for our 8 adults and two kids. However, the home did not provide towels. This was incredibly inconvenient to travel with that many towels as we all were coming from out of state. Also, the hot water in the upstairs sink never worked. Overall, the home met our needs and the location could not have been better.

Sep 2022The best way to describe our stay at this property is by listing pros and cons. The location was very good, within walking distance to Seabright Beach and local eateries. The deck off the main floor provided good seating and space for enjoying the water view. The good sized great room was bright with ample seating in the dining area and at the kitchen counter. The upstairs bedroom with en-suite bathroom was comfortable and private. The three queen beds in the house were comfortable. The bathrooms were okay. Parking was ample on the garage driveway. The big disappointment was the strong, damp, musty smell which was very noticeable when we entered the house. It came from the lower level which housed two bedrooms and a sleeping porch. The odor permeated the area where six out of eight people slept and it was not pleasant. The single beds in the sleeping porch were lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. The two lower level bedrooms each had a very small closet which were cluttered with extra pillows and duvets on the floor and shelf, leaving minimal room for clothes. There was mold on the lower level bathroom ceiling. The living room suite needs to be deep cleaned or replaced as the covering was very soiled. A new coffee maker, a tea kettle and decent sized coffee mugs would be good additions in the kitchen. To end on a positive note, the owner was very helpful in promptly returning my call about a garbage issue and sending on an item left behind at the house.

Oct 2017Rented this house for extended family in town for a wedding. Loved all the options for sleeping. All individuals found the appropriate spot to sleep with privacy and enough bathrooms. Three outdoor patios so different age groups could meet together for visiting and outdoor meals.
Plenty of dishes and glassware provided. Living/dining room was spacious enough to join together to watch movies on Smart TV.
Location was terrific. Gorgeous view of the harbor and lighthouse and an easy walk to the beach and Aldo's for breakfast. Would definitely rent this house again when hosting a large group.

Aug 2019Property was in a great area, easy walk to beach. The beach was nice and not crowded. Boardwalk was a bit longer walk but used Uber.
This property fit our family of 3 sons and their families very nicely. Overall, everyone enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Mar 2018Overall the house was fine with lovely views out the dining room and living room windows. The location was good, close to town. The décor was a bit dated, but okay. I did point out a few minor things to the owners. The silverware drawer in the kitchen is broken and actually dangerous. It could easily pull out and land on a foot. The throw rugs in the kitchen and hallway right outside the kitchen slide around and are a safety issue. There was no liquid dish soap and no back-ups anywhere. We had to buy some. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The sleeping arrangements were good.

Jul 2021Our family came to Santa Cruz to get away from the heat and enjoy some time together. This house is perfectly located for every activity we wanted. You're within walking distance to the beach, the Boardwalk, and the marina if you wanted to take a charter out for the day. I highly recommend staying here, our family definitely will in the future.

Aug 2019My husband, myself and our adult children and their significant others loved Diana and Kirk Harbor/Ocean view home. The home is quite comfortable and has an absolutely stunning view.
Our adult children told us this is their favorite property and this
beach house will definitely will be our new yearly vacation home in Santa Cruz . I particularly love working with the owner/manager. Diana is most helpful. She is efficient, responds quickly and provides renters with an A+ service. I strongly recommend this beautiful beach home.
