Jul 2019We stayed at Ann’s lovely home the last week in June and we had the most relaxing time! Her home was lovely and cozy and has everything we needed for myself and my kids. And the location was awesome! Between the bay and the beach. We barbecued in the back while watching the gorgeous sunset over the bay. We rented bikes and rode to beach, you can walk the short block too! It was lovely and quiet and just the perfect place and town to go on vacation! I hope to go back next year!! Thank you, Ann!

Sep 2020We really enjoyed our stay! Cute beach bungalow in a great location at the Jersey shore! Close to beach and local favorite spots. It was so nice to walk in the morning, grab coffee and breakfast and sit outside at the house and enjoy. The house was what we needed and local was great for our plans. Would recommend it and stay here again.

Oct 2021We had a wonderful time during our trip. This home is in such a great location and we were able to take some time to relax with the beach nearby and close proximity to many of the local boardwalks. The house itself is well kept and up to date. Think some of the communication with the host could have been improved. We were notified a few days in that the dishwasher was not usable as it leaked when in use and needed to be fixed. It was good that we didn’t use the dishwasher before we received the heads up a few days into our stay. Some of the other amenities also may need some maintenance. On the last day of our trip, we noticed that the new AC unit in the main room was slowly dripping condensation. We quickly turned it off and stopped using it for the rest of our stay. We were not aware that this would happen since it’s a new unit. Instead of the AC, we tried opening the windows to cool the room down, but the windows had difficulty opening. We turned the handles, but they didn’t push the windows open very far and when we tried to close the windows the handles seemed to rotate but not actually close the windows easilyOverall, it’s a really nice place to stay and we had a great time staying in this house. Would definitely recommend.

Sep 2018This was the third time we stayed at this unit and it is always perfect. Extra special treat of new AC that was installed this year. Already looking forward to 2019! Cannot wait!

Jul 2020This was the perfect property for my family and I. This property is perfectly located between two beaches and two boardwalks. Not to mention in an amazing shore town with multiple shops and restaurants in walking distance. The only down side was that the week flew by. Thank you Ann for allowing us to stay in your home and we cannot wait to come back for years to come. Highly recommended!

Sep 2019The property was just as described. Perfect for 4 people. There is nothing like the Jersey Shore Around Labor Day. The house was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for a small family. Ocean Beach neighborhood is wonderful and neighbors were very friendly. Thank you Jimmy and Ann for a great end to summer 2019.

Sep 2022Sad family business in the area brought me to search out a place to stay locally. Once that was complete I actually asked the host to stay on four more nights because the house was so clean, the neighborhood friendly, the accommodations comfortable and the sea air very healing. Would definitely recommend. Location is everything.

My only critique that the interior of the house could use a little upgrade. The beds/bedrooms, dishware and bathroom all felt a bit dingy. I would recommend bringing your own blankets as well.

Can also spring for some new curtains that dont fall everytime you move them. Other than that, was perfect for a relaxing week

Jun 2019I give this home a 5 star review but realistically it is not like a 5 star resort. But I am rating the home and the home itself was very nice. It was small, 2 bdrm, one bathroom and a tight squeeze for 6 people. But we were not in the house that much so it didn't really matter. The house was very clean which was very important to me. And I think it was nicer than the pictures showed. The location is great, very locally centered. We did rent bikes from a local store (Beach Authority) and so we typically just used our bikes to go about town instead of our car. The beaches in Lavallette were very clean and nice. There were air conditioners in each room which made the house comfortable, which is a "must have" for me. There was a tiny patio area in the back of the house that was could have been better but there wasn't any extra space to expand to a larger sitting area. We didn't use it. The homeowners were easy to get a hold of and easy to deal with although I didn't actually meet them. This home perfectly suited my families need for a short stay.

Aug 2020Heartfelt thanks to Ann and her hospitality. Her home is perfectly located between the ocean and bay on a quiet street. We loved sitting out on the deck watching the sunset. Her home was clean and inviting. The pull out couch was very comfortable as well.

The hosts always responded to my inquiries and any issues were taken care of. Thank you for allowing me to stay in your property during my time back home! Would definitely rent again!

Sep 2018Beds were so uncomfortable had to go for massage it was like sleeping on the floor. Dryer had to be started 2 more times.
communication with wrong name for welcome and had to reach out to thr owner instead of her providing to me. Old appliances dirty kitchen rug. Fits 2 people cant even shut the door when opening up the outdated uncomfortable trundle bed. Parking horrible how do 6 people rent here? No closet in the one bedroom. Way to small. I guess I should have read 2017 reviews because 4 people in here was not comfortable let alone 6.
Would not go back.
Also was not upfront about pet fee
that should be proposed on first invoice owner was informed upfront.
