This house is great for a stay with small children. Having bikes and some small toys was a fun bonus. The location is wonderful.

The house was perfect for our family of four last minute long weekend getaway. Within walking distance of nearly everything (restaurants, shops, ice cream, musical fountain, boardwalk, etc.). Clean, quiet, and extremely comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

The home is lovely but in need of some major love and attention. I read in previous reviews that the kitchen was poorly stocked but talked to the owner who said things were better. Our first morning, I ate my cereal out of a mixing bowl (there were only 3 cereal bowls), no steak knives or large knives for cutting a melon and we questioned why the owner didn't clean out the refrigerator from the previous tenants. Yuck! There was an bag of ice cubes next to the full ice maker and we realized too late that the ice maker was making foul tasting ice cubes. We reported the cereal bowl issue and the owner said there should be 12 bowls...and she'd bring some over. She didn't during our 3 night stay. Also, no sugar for coffee. No hand towels with the bath towels and wash cloths. I texted the owner...no response.If this was a cheap rental, not $390. a night, I could excuse this but I believe if you make the guests feel comfortable, they'll write great reviews and come back. It seems the owner has been burned in the past with guests taking items so it's listed in the welcome book how much you will be charged if a hand towel, wash cloth, etc. is missing. We didn't have a top sheet on our bed, which we reported in fear of being charged. If you like to sleep in on vacation bring curtains for the upstairs master bedroom. Home needs love and host needs to cater to guests to make this a worthwhile rental property.

Really enjoyed our stay at this house. Perfect space for the 5 of us. Location was great, right down the street from all the restaurants and beach. Riding our bikes to and from the beach was super easy. Would definitely recommend this house to friends

Overall our stay was great. House had plenty of room and was comfortable. I do not like to be negative but this might help with future peoples stays. We did not have enough towels. The towels and some cleaning supplies were in a closet that had a code. I had to leave a message for the Property Mgr and she got back with me the next day. My fault I didn't write the code down as I was talking to her when she gave it to me so I could not access the brooms to sweep the kitchen floor. Also, the property has a tile counter top which I have never dealt with and that was a bear to keep clean. I don't think it would cost too much to put some sort of solid counter in there, I'm sure I'm not the only person who didn't like the tile counter with the grout lines. Hope this doesn't sound too picky, overall the house was great and the location was awesome!

Our family has a wonderful time starting at your home. The kids loved the foosball table and the train table! We relaxed. We rode bikes. We did all the fun things Grand Haven had to offer with such ease because of the location. The house was very clean and close to everything. Would definitely stay again!!

My family, from teens to my 80 year old mom, enjoyed a relaxing week in Grand Haven. The house is in more of a residential area with a cute front porch and a garage full of bikes, corn hole and picnic table. The kitchen has an island bar for people keeping you company while you cook. We rode our bikes (about a mile?) to the beach every day without any problems. The stairs are a bit steep for seniors FYI, but fine for the rest of us. Overall the house is a bit cuter and larger than the photos show, especially in the living room and kitchen. Overall we had a lovely time in this charming house.

Loved staying in Grand Haven! Our rental allowed us to walk to downtown, the beach and pier! It was in close proximity to everything! We will rent again!

It's the perfect location! It's only a few blocks away from down town, only a block or two from the main in and out roads of Grand Haven and close enough to even walk to the beach if you wanted. The neighborhood is super nice and quiet. The house itself has such charm. Plenty of room for a family or a few friends. Kid friendly and everything you need for whatever you plan on doing in Grand Haven. I've already told friends and family this is a great get-away house! We plan on booking again!
