May 2021We would use this Bach again when needing to stay, owners very hospitable and suggested we didn’t need to rush off, and we were able to take are 2 small dogs which was very convenient for us

Feb 2021We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrew and Gail’s place.
They were very welcoming and were happy to have Alfie (our dog) too.
It’s a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We look forward to going back soon.

Jan 2021We had a long weekend away, staying at Gail's property. The perfect location (2 minutes walk to the beach) and ideal for people who want to take their dog. Fully fenced and space for Charlie to wander around. We did not need to get in the car the whole weekend, with shops withoin walking distance, the beach on your doorstep and a lovely Italian restaurant across the road. Gail and Andrew were lovely to deal with too. A+++

Apr 2022We absolutely loved our stay, the hosts were friendly and the property was perfect for our family including three adults, one infant and two dogs. The location is amazing, with beach access across the road and Bayfair Shopping Centre and Mount Maunganui only short drive away. We will definitely be back.

May 2021Very relaxing stay. Well set up and clean. The only big issue was the mattresses on the 2 single beds, they are super soft sponge and cannot be slept on, painful bodies lying on wooden slats, needing proper mattresses. Other than that, great!

Aug 2020This is a well done rabbit warren of rooms that met our needs perfectly. Inside an easily secured gate arrangement it gives a sense of private "bach at the beach" for a small family or family and friends. Very close to Italian pizza etc and fish and chips, and a small superette, and inside 100m you are on the beach. Great location.
We were allowed to bring our poodles with us (which was the core reason for selecting this property in the first place) and they told us they enjoyed the experience... :)

Dec 2020The property is well located close to just about everything including the beach a short walk away. Only downside about the location is a fair amount of traffic noise in the morning. The bach is quaint and rustic, so don’t expect state of the art appliances and the like, but what was there was more than adequate. Overall we enjoyed our stay however just one other word of caution if you are a very tall person you may have an issue hitting your head on some of the low ceilings. I am tall and I did not hit my head but I’ve learned to duck.

Aug 2020Perfect little place to stay, fully fenced for our small dogs, has everything you need even a games room. Close to a fish n chip shop/dairy and beach access. Has washing machine which was a bonus. Owners were friendly and welcoming.
