Jan 2018We very much enjoyed our stay at this mountain cabin. The house is exactly as pictured from bedrooms to living area. What we loved about it was that it is not a stripped down mountain rental with only a ski poster or two as token decoration. The house is filled with quirky, medicine-themed and ski-themed decor. Lots of pillows and blankets on the comfortable couches added to the cozy vibe. Sitting around the fire at night we felt like we were in our own mountain home.
The hot tub on the deck was really nice and overlooked a frozen stream. It was a great place to relax at the end of the day.
Communication with the owner was great - she was super thoughtful and eager to make sure we had a great stay in her home.
The location was also very good. One person in our group enjoyed hiking up the road and getting out on the cross country ski trail system nearby (~20 min or so walk away). The house itself is situated in a small neighborhood very close to Mt Snow (7 min drive). Neighbors have an eye on the place and are in communication with the owner should anything go wrong.
We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to others looking for a cozy cabin close to the slopes!

Home has everything you would ever want in a mountain getaway.. fireplace, hot tub, steam shower, games, etc. Lovingly maintained by the owners (Lisa and Leon) who were amazing throughout the process and genuinely enjoy making their home comfortable for guests. We will certainly be back - thank you!

Home has everything you would ever want in a mountain getaway.. fireplace, hot tub, steam shower, games, etc. Lovingly maintained by the owners (Lisa and Leon) who were amazing throughout the process and genuinely enjoy making their home comfortable for guests. Oct 2022This is the second time my husband and I have rented a home through Evolve Vacations, and both times our experience was wonderful! The home we rented in West Dover was perfect for us. Everything was super clean. The house is close to restaurants and stores. The entire rental process was great, and the homeowner was very responsive to our questions. Of course, the hot tub was an added bonus! The little town of Wilmington is worth the short drive. Such a cute historic town that's perfect for walking and shopping. We live in North Carolina and had never visited Vermont. It was so worth the drive!!! My husband and I live near the Outer Banks, a very popular beach vacation destination. We own a business and often times work directly with guests who are renting vacation homes. At first I was hesitant to rent from Evolve because, in our experience, property management companies can be a bit shady, and the homes are rarely cleaned. But we took a chance and rented a home in Sedona, Arizona a few years ago through Evolve. That experience showed us that not all property management companies are bad. Quite the opposite with Evolve. We couldn't have had any better experiences with the homes we rented in West Dover and Sedona! We highly recommend Evolve and plan to rent through them again.

Jan 2018Lisa’s house is the perfect ski getaway - close to Mt. Snow, cozy house with fireplace, hot tub and relaxing steam shower, comfy couches plus ski decor everywhere. It is right off Rt. 100 just a few miles down from the entrance to Mt. Snow. We were 6 with room to spare. Highly recommended for comfort and convenience. Lisa is helpful and very easy to work with. Hope to book again!

The house was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, and I was surprised by all of the bathroom amenities made available. The hot tub was a great plus and was perfect for the chillier nights. Lisa was super helpful in providing recommendations, she was easy to get ahold of, and beyond flexible. We truly could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Aug 2018It was spacious and felt clean. It was annoying that a few of the beds weren't made up and we had to hunt around for sheets/pillowcases that fit the beds. There were also TONS of tchotchkes EVERYWHERE, so surfaces were pretty cluttered in the individual rooms, which made it hard to spread out. There were so many things on the shelves that we didn't even initially notice the video camera that was pointed right into the living room. I wish someone had told us about the camera in advance and would have communicated with us as to whether or not it was on, filming, or whatever. This made a few of us VERY uncomfortable.
There was an issue with the dishwasher early on, but the staff at Evolve were able to handle that really quickly, which was nice!

Nov 2018I go to Mt Snow quite often, 8-10x a season. We have stayed at most hotels and motels, a lot of apartments and homes, and this by far has to be #1. The whole home is a great vibe a retro styling too it and its awesome. Lisa was great with providing all the info for the home, and constantly asked if everything was ok and how we were enjoying it, so that alone deserves 5*. Looks like we found our go to spot every time we come up now. Amazing home, amazing hosts, amazing location, not much more you can ask for!

The whole home is a great vibe a retro styling too it and its awesome. Lisa was great with providing all the info for the home, and constantly asked if everything was ok and how we were enjoying it, so that alone deserves 5*. Looks like we found our go to spot every time we come up now. Amazing home, amazing hosts, amazing location, not much more you can ask for!

Oh, and that grill is amazing - after cooking on that grill last weekend I have been shamed into upgrading my home grill! Thanks for opening up your home to our family.
