Jan 2020We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. Very spacious and very clean and so close to everything. With a young family , the house worked perfectly for quiet times. Would stay again for sure.

Apr 2019We had a really good time there. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It is very well located with shops only a few minutes away including a Coles. The house was clean, spacious and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this house.

Apr 2022We had a great time at Blue Lake Retreat. The location was great, close to Dunsborough and Caves Rd for wineries and other local attractions. Would be perfect for a family as it has table tennis and a football table.

May 2016We enjoyed our stay very much. The spaciousness in the huge living room overlooking the lake makes it possibly one of the best locations in the golf estate. We found it very good for family bonding as the open space of kitchen, TV room, and table tennis area leading onto the fresco made it good for that purpose. And off course for an afternoon nap, the rooms way in the back of the house offer a quiet peaceful atmosphere. We will return again.

Jan 2017Visited for 6 night stay over New Year period due to family visiting from UK. Property in good location, although cleanliness of property not up to scratch due to presence on dog hair inside and outside the, BBQ unusable (dog hair all inside and rusted), as well as having to chase for bedding/linen which was paid for (good job we checked during the extensive inventory check for the property!) Whilst issues raised upon check in, nothing sorted during the stay. Ended up cleaning the property ourselves and never being able to have a BBQ. Extremely disappointing, although owner did touch base AFTER our stay.

Nov 2022This listing is just as advertised - reasonably priced, well located and hassle free. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room to move in the large family/dining area. The kitchen is well appointed making it easy to prep meals for a crowd! (Even though we didn’t have one this time) Will be back

May 2021The STAYZ website continually enforced NO REFUND even for COVID cancellations. Stressful for 4 self employed people. There was not enough toilet paper, no tissues, 2 teaspoons of crap coffee, no tea bags, no milk, salt, pepper, or any condiments. Not even a hand towel or soap in the toilets. This could have been an opportunity to support local business.The house was unwelcoming. No games, puzzles or activities other than table tennis. Nothing recent to read. The compendium was unwelcoming, first page listing every item in house as though we were intended thieves. The blankets provided were insufficient. Also, there is what sounds like a pressure relief value in the roof that opens and closes with water rushing in between, on a regular basis. This noise going all night is not conducive with sleep. I could not recommend this accommodation, nor STAYZ as a company. The owner of the accommodation was good to deal with and the place was clean.

The sofas were old and uncomfortable. There were sockets hanging from the wall -TV aerial and a light switch. The kitchen has the bare minimum - coffee granules poured into an old jam jar and sugar in a jam jar, not hygienic for the current situation in the world at present! The owners were easy to communicate with but need to upgrade the accommodation and the amenities. No WiFi, which in 2021 I expect as a standard!

Jan 2016Stayed Jan 2016 - We had a wonderful stay at the property - it is spacious and presented lovely (even some festive/xmas decorations!) and had all the amenities you could need and want - the table tennis is a cute bonus. The location is quiet and close to the shops and the beach - a great place to make wonderful family memories - thank you!

In advertising the property and what’s included be upfront about the linen being extra, don’t assume most people bring their own as was the case?
2 bathrooms/toilets and 1 spare (1/2roll) of toilet paper? Globes not working in bathroom, laundry hallway.
Cheapest possible instant coffee and tea you can get, no salt/pepper or hand soap throughout etc
Tv that doesn’t have any connectivity at all just basic local tv channels but does have a seperate DVD player, which I don’t know if you can still hire DVDs?
We have stayed in many a similar properties with similar nightly rental rates and some even lower who offer all the above an more,,,,
