Apr 2019Zilker Park Place is as warm and welcoming as your own home. Everything you need from coffee to a wine bottle opener is there. All paper products are SOFT!!! Sorry, that is a big thing to me. And the bed is as comfortable as our own. We loved the fact that there were different comforters or blankets to choose from. The condo is quiet and the sound of the fish tank and occasional trains just lulls you to sleep.
The location is perfect. You can walk to Barton Springs Park and a bunch of restaurants. You are a short drive to South Congress and all the eclectic shops and murals that give Austin it's vibe.
The condo it's self carries that vibe inside with its decor. The outside of the building has bright vibrant colors and wonderful xeriscape landscaping. All of the directions were spot on and so helpful.
We loved our stay at Zilker and if we come back to Austin, this is the only place we will stay.

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood - easy walk to Barton Springs, paddle board rentals, Terry Black's BBQ - longer walk to the bat bridge and downtown. We even walked to the Capitol and the History Museum on the other side of downtown (but that's an hour walk).

Oct 2018We were visiting for the ACL music festival. It was a 15-20 walk to the festival. Easy enough for Uber/Lyft to pick us up if needed. The house was a nice townhouse in a quiet neighborhood. We plan on making this a yearly trip so we will try our best to come every year to this home. Thank you.

Mar 2021We wanted a quick stay out of town for the weekend. This condo was in a great location to easily get to our favorite restaurants. Also, being walking distance to the trails and Zilker Park was terrific. I recommend this place for a fun stay in Austin, especially if you're looking for a good home base for going out and doing things in the downtown area.

great amenities like a washer/dryer! We would definitely stay here again!

Feb 2022We enjoyed a very cozy stay at this home. It was within 5-10 minutes by car to parks, restaurants, and nifty coffee shops. Lois's place was well-appointed, spacious, and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again when I return to Austin!

Oct 2022This townhouse is like a perfect example of what I think about when I hear Austin, Texas. The vibrant colors, the decorations, the table with jeans and boots on it. Especially the downstairs toilet which is the coolest toilet I have ever seen. The mattress was so comfy that me and my girlfriend did not wanna get up at all. I love how there’s an extension cord provided and an Apple TV and a Roku so you can watch Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc. (as long as you have an account on a streaming service of course). The location is very nice, it’s very close to downtown and other places in South Austin like the Barton Creek Square Mall, Cidercade, Snooze AM, etc. There’s a guide book that the owner has that has a bunch of suggestions about what to do around Austin & where to eat. I’d love to come back here again. 10/10

Jul 2020This quiet, affordable apartment one block from Zilker Park is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The property manager is very concerned for your comfort and immediately addressed any needs we had. From plush bathroom towels to a well-equipped kitchen, high-speed internet and smart tv, to comfortable furnishings, we couldn’t be more pleased and we’ll be back.

Sep 2019This place is perfect for a couple wanting to relax and have fun. Close to Zilker Park and Barton Springs swimming area, a huge freshwater pool. Also, just short distances to dining, shopping and events. Owner Lois Goodman is a long-standing Austin resident and is committed to making sure her guests are comfortable and will enjoy this rental. She is very friendly and informed. She is more than willing to get together to share her knowledge of the area and make recommendations on things to do, places to visit, where to eat, and so on. We had a wonderful time staying in this artsy rental. Highly recommend this Zilker place.

It is beautifully decorated and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The patio is small but cozy and the main bed upstairs was SO comfortable. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Aug 2022Stayed very briefly on a layover from West to East coast. Lois was super communicative and flexible. We really appreciated her help. Kids were super comfy on sofa bed with egg crate and mom and dad slept so soundly. My kids keep asking when we can get a toilet fish of our own.

Jul 2022Quick, one night stay with my mother and my daughter. Wanted to be close to Barton Springs pool, so location was great. Place was artsy and cute. My daughter enjoyed Gustavo, the fish that lived in the toilet. The parking spot(s) was great. No complaints, everything was as advertised.
