Die Kabine ist sehr sauber gehalten, und Sie können völlig frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher erwarten. Sep 2021You can't go wrong staying at this place if you need to get away and relax. There is no WiFi or cell service. A good time to disconnect. We have stayed here twice and can't wait to go again. As soon as you walk in you fill right at home. The special touches they left us were so thoughtful, from home baked cookies, flowers and fresh veggies from their garden to the Starbucks coffee and candy. The cute cabin is super, super clean. They now have a firepit to enjoy and cornhole. Thanks again and we can't wait to come back.

Oct 2020Wow just wow all the little touches were all so perfect and very homily candy treats and no cell phone service makes it even more amazing handmade chocolate chip cookies make u feel great eating them next to a fire stove that heats u all night perfect drive to the hot springs 5stars all they way around we will be back 100 % garunteed we saw a family of wild turkeys hobble around made the kids smile 😁also coloring books 📚 and paints a perfect touch for the kids seeing their minds prosper with no distractions wow would totally recommend and have to all our friends cheers 🍻 great job !!!!

There were abundant towels and washcloths in the bathroom. The sofa bed was pulled out and ready to sleep in, as if someone had anticipated our need. The queen bed in the larger bedroom was very comfortable. The gas grill was easy to use. The setting outdoors is lovely and we enjoyed nearby hikes. Communication with the property manager was clear and prompt.Thank you very much!

Sep 2022We had a relaxing time at this beautiful location. The cabin was comfortable with great views. We took advantage of the location to go to the New Castle Farmers Market, Iron Mt. Hot Springs, hiked Centennial Trail, and visited Rifle Falls State Park. I want to bring my husband and friends here for a relaxing weekend.

Aug 2019We had an excellent stay, and the house description was spot on. I grew up going to my grandfather's farm every weekend, so it brought back a ton of memories. Cows came up to the adjoining fence every day to check us out, and we only say a few cars during our entire 2 night stay. Our sons weren't as happy about the 'no cell and no internet' aspect, but it certainly allowed us some fantastic family time together, and my wife and I enjoyed every minute of our experience. Thank you!!

Aug 2022We had a great time staying at Trapper's cabin! Our kiddo loved the toys especially. There were some lovely touches. What we didn't do was clearly read the description to know there's no WIFI or signal - it comes back on at the stop sign if you're seeking it. Tina was easy to communicate with - the place was great.

Jun 2021We enjoyed the house in the country. You could look out the window and see the cows next door. The grill was fantastic. We had a nice repast of sausages and peppers on the grill. The open ness, and sqare footage allowed for plenty of space. I could even use my walker in the house. Thanks for a nice place to stay.

Jul 2020We absolutely loved this cabin. We were in New Castle for a wedding. The pictures of this place do not do it justice. It is SO cute and very clean. We would definitely stay again. The wild turkeys roaming around and humming birds made my day.

Jul 2021This was a great property with beautiful views and plenty of space. There were just two of us but this property could easily accomodate a family of four or two couples and even some kids. Beautiful area out of town but no too far out of town. It was the perfect home base to explore Rifle Falls and Glenwood Springs. Plus the cows were adorable. Would stay here again.

Jul 2022This property was very comfortable. We loved the location. The beds were comfy. There were games to play and books to read. We loved the fire table and made lots of memories there. The kitchen was well stocked with things you might need. Worked perfect for our family. We really enjoyed not having wifi or cell service for a week.

Tina gave us a great heads up when I-70 shut down due to the mudslides so we could reroute in advance. She also saved our trip when Google maps erroneously marked the route to Glenwood Springs as closed and we thought we would have to rethink everything we had planned. Thank you Tina and Sally, we would love to stay again someday!

Sep 2022This home is an older home, but everything was clean and neat. Lots of great books and movies. Beautiful countryside and very quiet. Enjoyed the glider on the front patio. Very nice firepit. Would recommend to anyone wanting to sit back and relax.

The view in the area is breathtaking and the cabin is spacious, cozy and well stocked just to feel like home!! It wasn't too far from the nearest grocery to stock up the refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and informative, would rent again!!

Oct 2018The home was welcoming-fall decorations complete with fresh cookies, apples & candy corn. We had everything we needed & the owner even had a toy box ready for our 2 year old granddaughter. Lovely views in a setting that was quiet & off the beaten track, but still convenient to Glenwood Springs attractions. Definitely would like to return.
