Dec 2019What an incredible experience we had! Becky was a fabulous hostess! She even build a snowman complete with hat and all just for us!! The property is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and with all the amenities needed to make you feel right at home. The rooms are big, the beds are super comfy, the bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen is well appointed with everything needed to cook meals. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and felt right at home. Beautiful views from the back porch, centrally located and more. Thank you Becky and Ron for everything! We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Oct 2019We like the property very much but Becky and Ron live downstairs and this was not disclosed and feel it has to be we would not have booked this otherwise although we never knew they were there it was unsettling. Full use of the pool is not available either another reason we booked this property.

Oct 2021We enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing stay in Becky's VRBO. The beds were very comfortable as were we. Seeing all the fall foliage was wonderful. We had plenty of trails for walking in the park behind us. We will definitely remember this VRBO for future trips.

Nov 2019This was a great place to stay in a Minneapolis peaceful suburban location and outstanding in every way. It worked perfectly for 5 adults who were in town to attend a wedding. Becky, the owner is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Her home was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The photos inside do not do it justice. The kitchen is very well supplied with everything including some condiments and other food supplies. Likewise the bathrooms are also well supplied. The beds were great! The outside decks and privacy are wonderful, and the adjacent trail system for hiking was great.
Only drawbacks were the washer and dryer being in the owner's home downstairs with limited availability and the excessive damage deposit if you do not purchase VRBO additional insurance (damage deposit was promptly refunded however). Also the WI-FI did not work well and GFCI is easily tripped if 2 hair dryers are used simultaneously.
We loved this home and would gladly stay here again.

Nov 2019This is the most cozy, beautiful VRBO I've stayed in so far (and I've stayed in a lot of them!) I went there with my 4 little kids (single parent here, and they're ages 2-7), and my kids couldn't stop raving about Becky. She pays such attention to detail, and the place was so beautiful! The kids loved exploring in the back yard, swinging on the swing and checking out the little stream that goes through further back. The layout was perfect, as the bedrooms were all in the same part of the home, which, for my kids was great, as they get a little apprehensive at bedtime if they're far from me. I've already decided I'm buying the same couch for my home, because it was so cozy and perfect to snuggle up on when it's cold outside. It's in a quiet little neighborhood, and Becky had very few "asks" of the guests, which was refreshing.
The kids are already asking when we can go back again :) Thank you so much for your warm hospitality, Becky! This truly is "The Best House".

Jul 2022This is an awesome location tucked away in the woods in a nice neighborhood. The house is nicely decorated with plenty of room for a family to spread out. Becky your host, keeps the house and grounds in great shape. Nice way to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Dec 2019This home was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, and that is one of the most important things for me and my family. The home was great, very clean and wonderful location. Only thing that caught us off guard was the owner on site. I would just recommend making that more well known in the listing. Never felt intruded on.

Jul 2020This home is spectacular. Absolutely breathtaking outdoor deck and yard that allows you to seamlessly go from inside to outside. Extremely well decorated and comfortable in every way. Well stocked. Spotlessly perfectly clean. Home is a peaceful beautiful sanctuary. Becky the owner is amazing. She is the most wonderful host and made sure everything was perfect for us. My son was married at Pinewood Wedding and Events and this home was perfect for our family. Best place to stay by far in the twin cities areas with easy access to all areas. We are so thankful we found this amazing property. We will go back!

Sep 2022The house was gorgeous and well-equipped! It is very stylishly decorated and convenient to many things. The bedrooms are very comfortable with plush towels. Becky has thought of so many wonderful touches. My brothers and our families were there for a wedding and we enjoyed the beautiful deck and outdoor living. It does have stairs so is not accommodating for a handicapped/wheelchair which did not affect us but I just share for anyone reading this review. There is a great pizza place nearby that we enjoyed called Adagio and we highly recommend. it's 30 minutes from the airport so was very convenient. We would stay there again the next time we visit family. Becky was great to deal with!

Although located right in easy distance to anything in the Twin Cities, it had a wonderful cabin feel. It backs to open regional park area so we really felt like we got away. The home was stocked with everything we needed, and our host checked in with us enough to feel cared for but not so much we felt like a bother to her. She is very caring and I believe she truly loves to have people enjoying her home. Our stay at the home felt like a big hug the entire time. We hope to be back to enjoy in the summer! *If looking for this winter, it is very close to the Ice Castle in Long Lake Regional Park!

So kind and thoughtful. It’s not often you get the chance to make a friend with a homeowner at a VRBO property, but we were lucky enough to do just that. We plan to rent with them again soon.
